Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya keterampilan menyimak anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK X. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan dari penggunaan media film animasi dengan buku cerita terhadap keterampilan menyimak anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest two treatment group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 28 anak usia 5-6 tahun yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok film animasi dan kelompok buku cerita. Proses penelitian dimulai dengan melakukan pre-test untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal menyimak anak, pemberian perlakuan berupa media film animasi dan buku cerita, dan diakhiri dengan melakukan post-test untuk mengetahui kemampuan menyimak anak setelah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keterampilan menyimak anak pada kelompok film animasi dengan kelompok buku cerita setelah perlakuan, dengan nilai t-hitung sebesar 4,748 dan p-value sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Selain itu, hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kelompok film animasi memiliki skor keterampilan menyimak yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok buku cerita, dengan rata-rata skor post-test kelompok film animasi sebesar 26,64 dan rata-rata post-test kelompok buku cerita sebesar 24,57. ---- This study is motivated by the problem of low listening skills of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten X. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the use of animated film media with storybooks on listening skills for children aged 5-6 years. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest two treatment group design. The research sample consisted of 28 children aged 5-6 years who were divided into two groups, namely experimental group 1 and experimental group 2. The research process begins by conducting a pre-test to determine the initial ability to listen to children, giving treatment in the form of animated film media and storybooks, and ends by conducting a post-test to determine the ability to listen to children after treatment. The results showed that there was a significant difference between children's listening skills in experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 after treatment, with a t-count value of 4.748 and a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). In addition, the results of data analysis show that experimental group 1 has a higher listening skill score compared to experimental group 2, with an average post-test score of experimental group 1 of 26.64 and an average post-test of experimental group 2 of 24.57.
