Abstract
Pembelajaran tentang keragaman budaya masih banyak menggunakan metode ceramah dan penggunaan buku paket masih menjadi pendekatan yang dominan dalam pembelajaran keragaman budaya. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan tentang kebhinekaan global di sekolah dasar masih menghadapi tantangan yang cukup besar. Hal ini terjadi di Sekolah Dasar di kota Bandung, peserta didik mengalami masalah dalam rasa kebhinekaan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan bahan ajar Berdaya, mengidentifikasi hasil validasi dari para ahli terhadap bahan ajar Berdaya, dan menganalisis peningkatan kebhinekaan global peserta didik Fase B kelas IV Sekolah Dasar setelah implementasi bahan ajar Berdaya berbasis VCT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah angket untuk menguji validitas desain, media, dan praktisi pembelajaran, serta tes untuk menguji peningkatan berkebhinekaan global peserta didik. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan dengan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian bahan ajar Berdaya terdiri dari tiga bab, yaitu konsep keragaman budaya, berkebhinekaan global, dan upaya pelestarian yang disajikan melalui beragam kegiatan seperti ayo membaca, melengkapi, memahami, mengamati, menganalisis, bercerita, menyimpulkan, dan mencoba. Hasil validasi dari para ahli menunjukkan berada pada kategori sangat layak. Bahan ajar yang dibuat menunjukkan N-Gain dengan kategori tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa bahan ajar Berdaya dapat meningkatkan berkebhinekaan global kelas IV (Fase B) sekolah dasar. Disarankan peserta didik memanfaatkan bahan ajar sebagai pembelajaran mandiri untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengenali, menghargai, dan berinteraksi lintas budaya. Guru diharapkan memanfaatkan serta mengembangkan sumber belajar secara kreatif sesuai kebutuhan kurikulum. Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan menambahkan fitur QR Code berisi materi tambahan, bab kasus nyata di masyarakat, serta aktivitas kolaboratif untuk memperluas cakupan dan efektivitas penelitian. This situation indicates that education on global diversity in elementary schools still faces significant challenges. This is evident at elementary school in Bandung, where students are experiencing difficulties in understanding global diversity. This study aims to describe the development of the Berdaya teaching materials, identify the validation results from experts on the Berdaya teaching materials, and analyze the improvement in global diversity among Phase B fourth-grade elementary school students after the implementation of the Berdaya teaching materials based on VCT. The research method used was the Design and Development (D&D) method using the ADDIE model. The instruments used in data collection were questionnaires to test the validity of the design, media, and learning practitioners, as well as tests to assess improvements in students' global diversity. The techniques used to collect data were tests and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative and qualitative methods. The results of the Berdaya teaching materials research consist of three chapters: cultural diversity concepts, global diversity, and conservation efforts, presented through various activities such as reading, completing, understanding, observing, analyzing, storytelling, summarizing, and trying. The validation results from experts indicate that the materials are highly suitable. The instructional materials developed demonstrate a high N-Gain category. The conclusion of this study is that the Berdaya instructional materials can enhance global diversity among fourth-grade students (Phase B) in elementary schools. It is recommended that students utilize the teaching materials for self-directed learning to enhance their skills in recognizing, valuing, and interacting across cultures. Teachers are encouraged to utilize and creatively develop learning resources according to curriculum needs. Further research is suggested to include QR Code features containing additional materials, real-life case studies in the community, and collaborative activities to expand the scope and effectiveness of the research.
