    Abstract

    Penelitian ini membahas mengenai persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kemudahan dan kebergunaan aplikasi Memrise dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Korea tingkat menengah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan instrumen kuesioner skala Likert dan wawancara semi-terstruktur. Sebanyak 65 mahasiswa aktif pengguna Memrise pada pembelajaran bahasa Korea level menengah dijadikan subjek, dan 4 informan dipilih berdasarkan skor tertinggi untuk wawancara mendalam. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan persepsi sangat positif pada konsep kemudahan penggunaan (rata-rata 87,1%–88,6%) dengan kategori “Sangat Setuju” dan kebergunaan (rata-rata 85,7%–87,5%) dengan kategori “Sangat Setuju”. Mahasiswa menilai aplikasi Memrise memiliki fitur dan tampilan yang mudah dipelajari. Aplikasi ini juga dinilai fleksibel, efektif, efisien, bermanfaat, dan memotivasi. Wawancara memperkuat temuan bahwa fitur video native speaker, latihan interaktif, conversation with AI, community course, dan teknik gamifikasi dinilai membantu dalam penguasaan kosakata. Selain meningkatkan kosakata, aplikasi ini juga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa lainnya, seperti meningkatkan tata bahasa dan berbicara. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan akses fitur berbayar dan ketergantungan pada koneksi internet sehingga menjadi fokus perbaikan bagi pengembang aplikasi. Temuan ini mendukung penerapan model Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) yang bermanfaat untuk memberikan referensi aplikasi untuk pembelajaran bahasa Korea secara mandiri serta mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan dari aplikasi ini. Juga dapat memberi saran untuk pengembang aplikasi. This research discusses students' perceptions of the ease and usefulness of the Memrise application in intermediate Korean vocabulary learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with instruments such as Likert scale questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. We selected a total of 65 active students using Memrise for intermediate Korean language learning as subjects, and 4 informants based on the highest scores for in-depth interviews. The results of the questionnaire showed a very positive perception of the concept of ease of use (average 87.1%–88.6%) in the "Strongly Agree" category and usefulness (average 85.7%–87.5%) in the "Strongly Agree" category. Students assess that the Memrise application has features and an interface that are easy to learn. This application is also considered flexible, effective, efficient, beneficial, and motivating. Interviews reinforced the finding that features such as native speaker videos, interactive exercises, conversation with AI, community courses, and gamification techniques are considered advantageous in vocabulary mastery. In addition to improving vocabulary, this application can also enhance other language skills, such as grammar and speaking. The main constraints include limited access to paid features and dependence on an internet connection, which have become focal points for improvement for the application developers. These findings support the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which is useful for providing references for self-directed Korean language learning applications and for understanding its strengths and weaknesses. It can also offer suggestions for application developers. 본 연구는 중급 한국어 학습에서 Memrise 애플리케이션의 사용 편의성과 유용성에 대한 학습자의 인식, 그리고 사용 중 겪는 어려움에 대해 논의한다. 본 연구는 Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) 이론을 적용하여 기술적 조사 중심의 연구 방법을 사용하였다. 연구 대상은 Memrise 앱을 사용했거나 사용하고 있는 학습자들이며, 이들을 대상으로 온라인 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 학습자들은 Memrise 애플리케이션의 사용 편의성에 대해 긍정적인 반응을 보였으며, 인터페이스가 명확하고 기능이 이해하기 쉬워 자율적으로 학습하기에 적합하다고 응답하였다. 또한 이 애플리케이션은 중급 한국어 어휘력 향상과 학습 동기 부여에도 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 프리미엄 기능에 대한 제한적 접근, 인터넷 연결 문제, 자료 제약 등 일부 장애 요인도 확인되었다. 전반적으로 Memrise 앱은 효과적이고 유익하지만, 접근성과 연결에 따른 제약 사항을 고려할 필요가 있다. 이 애플리케이션은 한국어 독학 학습을 위한 애플리케이션 참고 자료를 제공하고, 이 애플리케이션의 장점과 단점을 파악하는데 유용하다. 또한, 애플리케이션 개발자에게 개선점을 제시할 수 있다.
