    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman konsep peserta didik Fase B Jenjang Kelas III sekolah dasar pada mata Pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila khusunya pada materi makna nilai sila-sila Pancasila. Studi pendahuluan menyatakan bahwa terdapat peserta didik yang kesulitan dalam memahami makna dan nilai dari sila Pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat efektivitas penggunaam model problem based learning untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi makna nilai sila-sila Pancasila Fase sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimen desain one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 23 peserta didik fase B di salah satu SD di Kecamatan Sukajadi Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis dengan jenis soal uraian. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis dan uji N-Gain. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil post-test mengalami peningkatan dari rata-rata hasil pretest yaitu dari 55,35 menjadi 81,43. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,001 <0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, berarti bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang signifikan. Berdasarkan uji N-Gain, diperoleh skor N-Gain sebesar 0.5757berarti skor N-Gain berada pada kriteria "sedang". Sedangkan untuk persentase N-Gain menunjukan nilai 57.5673 yang berarti >55, maka kategori efektivitas model pembelajaran PBL berada pada tingkat cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik Fase B sekolah dasar. : This research is motivated by the low conceptual understanding of Phase B students of Grade III elementary school in the Pancasila education subject, especially on the material of the meaning of the values of the Pancasila principles. Preliminary studies stated that there were students who had difficulty in understanding the meaning and values of the Pancasila principles. This study aims to measure the level of effectiveness of the use of problem-based learning models to improve students' conceptual understanding of the material of the meaning of the values of the Pancasila principles of the elementary school phase. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method of one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was 23 phase B students in one of the elementary schools in Sukajadi District, Bandung City. The instrument used was a written test with essay questions. Data analysis used was a normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test and N-Gain test. The results of the analysis showed that the average post-test results increased from the average pre-test results, namely from 55.35 to 81.43. Based on the hypothesis test, a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 was obtained, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning there was a significant increase in conceptual understanding ability. Based on the N-Gain test, an N-Gain score of 0.5757 was obtained, meaning the N-Gain score was in the "moderate" criteria. Meanwhile, the N-Gain percentage showed a value of 57.5673, which means >55, so the effectiveness category of the PBL learning model was at a fairly effective level to improve the conceptual understanding of Phase B elementary school students.
