Abstract
Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi finansial pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar dikarenakan kurang optimalnya pembelajaran akibat keterbatasan sumber belajar termasuk media pembelajaran yang memadai. Kemampuan literasi finansial penting dimiliki oleh siswa usia Sekolah Dasar sebagai bekal untuk menghadapi tantangan abad 21. Literasi finansial dapat diajarkan kepada siswa Sekolah Dasar melalui pengitegrasian dengan mata pelajaran lain yang relevan seperti IPAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi finansial pada siswa fase B Sekolah Dasar melalui pengembangan multimedia Edu-Mall berbasis pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi ahli serta lembar tes kemampuan untuk pre-test dan post-test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitaif. Multimedia Edu-Mall disusun berdasarkan tujuh komponen pendekatan CTL dan berisi muatan tentang konsep uang, bagaimana uang diperoleh, bagaimana uang dibelanjakan, bagaimana uang disimpan, dan bagaimana uang didonasikan. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan bahwa multimedia Edu-Mall berbasis pendekatan CTL termasuk pada kategori “sangat layak” untuk digunakan. Sementara itu, hasil uji peningkatan kemampuan literasi finansial berdasarkan hasil uji perbedaan terhadap skor N-Gain memperoleh persentase yang termasuk dalam kategori “tinggi”. Berdasarkkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia Edu-Mall berbasis pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) efektif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi finansial siswa fase B Sekolah Dasar. This research is motivated by the low level of financial literacy among elementary school students due to suboptimal learning caused by limited learning resources, including adequate learning media. Financial literacy is important for elementary school students as a foundation for facing the challenges of the 21st century. Financial literacy can be taught to elementary school students through integration with other relevant subjects such as IPAS. This research aims to improve the financial literacy skills of elementary school students in phase B through the development of Edu-Mall Multimedia based on the Contextual Teaching and Development (CTL) approach. This research uses the Design and Development (D&D) method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Data collection techniques use expert validation sheets and ability test sheets for pre-test and post-tests. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The Edu-Mall multimedia was developed based on the seven components of the CTL approach and includes content on the concept of money, how money is earned, how money is spent, how money is saved, and how money is donated. The expert validation results indicate that the CTL-based Edu-Mall multimedia falls into the “highly suitable” category for use. Meanwhile, the results of the financial literacy improvement test based on the N-Gain score difference test obtained a percentage that falls into the “high” category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the multimedia Edu-Mall based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach is effective in improving the financial literacy skills of phase B elementary school students.
