    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik fase A terhadap materi simbol Pancasila. Peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep serta kesulitan untuk memberikan contoh penerapan sila-sila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh karena itu, peserta didik memerlukan alat bantu untuk memudahkan pemahaman pembelajaran terutama pada materi simbol Pancasila. Namun, keterbatasan yang ada sering menjadi kendala dalam kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat dijadikan solusi yaitu dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif. Hal ini dikarenakan media interaktif dirancang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menguji efektivitas dari media PINTAR terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik materi simbol pancasila. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif pre-experiment dengan desain one group pre-test post-test design. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah instrumen tes. Partisipan pada penelitian ini merupaka peserta didik sekolah dasar dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 22 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep simbol Pancasila peserta didik pada skor post-test lebih besar dibandingkan pret-test. Hal tersebut dibuktikan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan dari penggunaan media PINTAR dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test sebesar 0.00 < 0.05 (taraf signifikansi) artinya media PINTAR cukup efektif dalam terhadap pemahaman konsep simbol Pancasila peserta didik fase A sekolah dasar. Besar keefektivan media PINTAR ini sebesar 69,14% dengan kriteria sedang. Dengan demikian, guru dan peneliti selanjutnya disarankan menyesuaikan media pembelajaran dengan karakteristik peserta didik agar pembelajaran lebih efektif. This This research was motivated by the low level of understanding among Phase A students regarding the topic of Pancasila symbols. Students still face difficulties in grasping the concept and providing examples of the application of Pancasila principles in daily life. Therefore, students need supportive tools to facilitate learning comprehension, especially in the subject of Pancasila symbols. However, existing limitations often hinder the effectiveness of the learning process. One alternative solution is the use of interactive learning media, as such media are designed to meet the needs and characteristics of students. The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the PINTAR interactive media on students’ conceptual understanding of Pancasila symbols. This study employed a quantitative pre-experimental method using a one-group pre-test–post-test design. The instruments used included tests. The participants of this study were elementary school students, with a sample size of 22 students. The results showed that the average post-test score of students’ understanding of Pancasila symbols was higher than their pre-test score. This was supported by a significant difference in the mean scores based on the paired sample t-test results, with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. This indicates that the PINTAR media was effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding of Pancasila symbols at the elementary Phase A level. The effectiveness level of the PINTAR media reached 69.14%, categorized as moderate. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers and future researchers adapt learning media to the characteristics of students to achieve more effective learning outcomes.
