Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak psikologis dari bullying terhadap psychological wellbeing serta mengetahui strategi dan mekanisme yang dilakukan dalam menghadapi dan mengatasi dampak bullying pada siswa yang berprestasi korban bullying di lingkungan sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan tiga partisipan yang memiliki pengalaman berbeda dalam menghadapi perlakuan bullying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak bullying terhadap psychological well-being setiap partisipan bervariasi, tergantung pada faktor individu dan lingkungan sosial dampak pada partisipan I adalah berkurangnya kepercayaan diri, penerimaan diri yang rendah dapat berdampak pada perasaan tidak cukup baik atau rendah diri, pada partisipan II rasa malu terhadap fisiknya, perasaan rendah diri, dan kesulitan berkomunikasi dengan orang lain, pada partisipan III rendah diri, sulit membangun hubungan yang positif dengan orang lain atau bersikap canggung. Dalam menghadapi bullying, ketiga partisipan menerapkan strategi coping yang berbeda, mencerminkan perbedaan dalam mekanisme adaptasi dan ketahanan psikologis masing-masing, pada partisipan I menunjukkan adanya rasa penerimaan terhadap diri sendiri dalam hal prestasi dan kemampuan, lalu pada partisipan II partisipan mengidentifikasi bahwa dirinya memiliki keunikan dan berusaha untuk menerima bahwa segala sesuatu adalah bagian dari kehendak Allah, selanjutnya pada partisipan III dengan menguatkan diri melalui afirmasi positif dan fokus pada prestasi. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan mengenai pentingnya dukungan psikososial bagi siswa berprestasi yang mengalami bullying agar mereka dapat mempertahankan kesejahteraan psikologisnya. This study aims to determine the psychological impact of bullying on psychological wellbeing and knowing the strategies and mechanisms used in facing and overcoming the impact of bullying on students who excel victims of bullying in the junior high school environment. This research uses a qualitative approach approach with a case study method, involving three participants who have different experiences in facing different experiences in dealing with bullying treatment.
