    Abstract

    Media sosial yang populer di kalangan peserta didik adalah TikTok, sebuah platform berbagi video pendek yang banyak digunakan sebagai sarana hiburan. Namun, penggunaan TikTok yang berlebihan dan tidak terkontrol dapat berdampak negatif pada aktivitas belajar, seperti menurunnya kemampuan mengatur waktu, merencanakan tugas, dan menyelesaikan tanggung jawab akademik secara mandiri. Kemampuan ini dikenal sebagai Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). Dalam pembelajaran IPS, SRL berperan penting karena membantu peserta didik memahami konsep, mengelola waktu belajar, dan menyelesaikan tugas secara terstruktur. Dengan SRL yang baik, peserta didik dapat menjaga fokus dalam pembelajaran IPS meskipun terdapat distraksi seperti media sosial.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui tingkatan SRL dalam pembelajaran IPS, 2) Mengetahui tingkatan adiksi media sosial TikTok, 3) Menganalisis hubungan antara SRL dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan adiksi media sosial TikTok, dan 4) Menganalisis kontribusi SRL dalam pembelajaran IPS terhadap adiksi media sosial TikTok di kalangan peserta didik SMP Pasundan 12 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi dan teknik purposive sampling yang melibatkan 196 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Tingkatan SRL dalam pembelajaran IPS berada pada kategori sedang, 2) Tingkatan adiksi media sosial TikTok berada pada kategori sedang, 3) Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan nilai sig 0.000 < 0.05 dan nilai pearson correlation -0,440, sehingga terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara SRL dalam Pembelajaran IPS dengan adiksi media sosial TikTok dalam kategori hubungan sedang, dan 4) SRL dalam pembelajaran IPS memberikan kontribusi sebesar 19,36% terhadap adiksi media sosial TikTok pada peserta didik di SMP Pasundan 12 Bandung. TikTok is one of the most popular social media platforms among students, widely used for entertainment through short video sharing. However, excessive and uncontrolled use of TikTok can negatively impact students' learning activities, such as reducing their ability to manage time, plan tasks, and independently fulfill academic responsibilities. These abilities are known as Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). In Social Studies learning, SRL plays a crucial role as it helps students understand concepts, manage study time, and complete tasks in a structured manner. With good SRL, students can maintain their focus on Social Studies learning despite distractions such as social media. This study aims to: (1) Determine the level of SRL in Social Studies learning, (2) Determine the level of TikTok social media addiction, (3) Analyze the relationship between SRL in Social Studies learning and TikTok social media addiction, and (4) Analyze the contribution of SRL in Social Studies learning to TikTok social media addiction among students at SMP Pasundan 12 Bandung. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method and purposive sampling technique involving 196 respondents. The results showed: (1) The level of SRL in Social Studies learning was in the moderate category, (2) The level of TikTok social media addiction was also in the moderate category, (3) Data analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a Pearson correlation value of -0.440, indicating a significant negative relationship between SRL in Social Studies learning and TikTok social media addiction with a moderate level of correlation, and (4) SRL in Social Studies learning contributed 19.36% to TikTok social media addiction among students at SMP Pasundan 12 Bandung.
