Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model bimbingan karier Gottfredson menggunakan Genogram sebagai upaya mengembangkan aspirasi pekerjaan siswa SMP tingkat IX. Bimbingan karier Gottfredson terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu: tahap orientasi, yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan awal aspirasi pekerjaan, pengungkapan profil aspirasi pekerjaan peserta didik, pengumpulan informasi struktur keluarga.; tahap inti, meliputi Learning, untuk mengembangkan konsep diri dan gambaran pekerjaan melalui identifikasi keluarga. Experience, untuk mengembangkan preferensi dan persepsi aksesibilitas. Self insight, untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dalam mencari berbagai alternatif pilihan pekerjaan dan menentukan pekerjaan di masa depan yang dianggap dapat dicapai oleh peserta didik; dan tahap penutup, meliputi evaluasi dan refleksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Research and development (RnD) yaitu metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah dan mengembangkan produk atau praktik baru melalui proses investigasi, desain, pengujian, dan revisi, dengan cara sistematis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen aspirasi pekerjaan (IAP) dan observasi saat proses pelaksanaan model terhadap sampel penelitian. Subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari 50 sampel siswa SMP tingkat IX di SMP Negeri 15 Bandung, dibagi menjadi dua kelas, yang masing masing disebut sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Selain itu, orangtua dilibatkan untuk menjadi sistem pendukung pemerolehan informasi berkenaan dengan keluarga. Guru bimbingan dan konseling dilibatkan untuk memberikan layanan informatif kepada siswa di kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa SMP tingkat IX berada pada kategori moderate, artinya tujuan spesifik tentang pekerjaan di masa depan sudah ada, namun masih perlu dikembangkan agar mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal. Rancangan model yang telah disusun berdasarkan studi pendahuluan, kemudian divalidasi oleh empat orang ahli dalam keilmuan bimbingan dan konseling, tiga orang akademisi, dan satu orang praktisi. Implementasi model yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa para siswa antusias dan terbantu dalam memahami pendidikan dan pekerjaan lingkup keluarga yang disesuaikan dengan dirinya. Uji keefektifan menunjukkan model bimbingan karier Gottfredson menggunakan Genogram dapat mengembangkan aspirasi pekerjaan siswa SMP tingkat IX secara signifikan. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi bakat anggota keluarga yang diturunkan pada siswa meskipun para siswa tidak tertarik dengan pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh anggota keluarganya. Kata Kunci: Bimbingan karier Gottfredson, Genogram, Aspirasi pekerjaan This study aims to design a career guidance model based on Gottfredson's theory, using Genogram as an effort to develop the career aspirations of ninth-grade junior high school students. The Gottfredson career guidance model consists of three stages: the orientation stage, which includes the analysis of initial career aspiration needs, the disclosure of students' career aspiration profiles, and the collection of family structure information; the core stage, which includes Learning, to develop self concept and career images through family identification; Experience, to develop preferences and perceptions of accessibility; Self-insight, to develop the ability to explore various job alternatives and determine achievable future careers for the students; and the closing stage, includes evaluation and reflection. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD), which is a systematic process aimed at solving problems and developing new products or practices through investigation, design, testing, and revision. Data collection techniques were carried out using a career aspiration instrument (IAP) and observation during the implementation of the model with the research sample. The research subjects consisted of 50 ninth-grade junior high school students at SMP Negeri 15 Bandung, divided into two classes: an experimental class and a control class. Additionally, parents were involved as a support system to provide family-related information, while guidance and counseling teachers were engaged to provide informational services to students in the control class. The results showed that most of the ninth grade students were in the moderate category, meaning that they had specific career goals for the future but needed further development to achieve more optimal outcomes. The model design, which was based on preliminary studies, was then validated by four experts in guidance and counseling, three academics, and one practitioner. The implementation of the model showed that students were enthusiastic and helped in understanding education and work within the family context that was aligned with their own aspirations. The effectiveness test indicated that the Gottfredson career guidance model using Genogram significantly improved the career aspirations of ninth-grade junior high school students. This study also identified talents inherited from family members to students, even though the students were not interested in the jobs performed by their family members.
