Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya persoalan-persoalan yang dihadapi siswa ketika memecahkan masalah-masalah yang dihadapinya, tidak setiap masalah bisa diselesaikan dengan menggunakan akal, adakalanya masalah harus diselesaikan dengan pendekatan spiritual, untuk itu perlu dikembangkan kecerdasan spiritual untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi, banyak faktor yang menjadikan tingginya kecerdasan spiritual siswa salah satunya dengan pembelajaran PAI di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan prestasi belajar PAI dengan kecerdasan spiritual siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 4 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode statistik inferensial, yaitu statikstik korelasional untuk mengkorelasikan antara prestasi belajar PAI yang diambil dari rata-rata nilai rapot PAI siswa dalam ranah kognitif praktek dan sikap dengan kecerdasan spiritual siswa yang diambil dari penyebaran angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling purposive yaitu dengan mempertimbangkan sampel yang diambil. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 77 siswa dari kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Bandung yang sudah menjadi pertimbangan peneliti. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan nilai rapot siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI semester ganjil, penyebaran angket yang terdiri dari 50 item dan studi pustaka. Dari hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji statistik dengan menggunakan progam komputer software SPSS versi 20 for window maka diperoleh hasil uji korelasi dengan menggunakan pearson correlation sebesar -0,108 dengan besarnya Sig 0,348>0,05 yang berarti H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak, jadi dapat disimpulkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara prestasi belajar PAI dengan kecerdasan spiritual. Adapun keterpengaruhan kecerdasan spiritual oleh prestasi belajar PAI sebesar 1,2 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka direkomendasikan: (1) sekolah diharapkan mampu untuk meningkatkan lagi kegiatan-kegiatan yang berhubungan kecerdasan spiritual siswa, (2) untuk guru agat lebih diperhatikan lagi pembelajaran yang meningkatkan kualitas kecerdasan spiritual siswa disamping meningkatkan kecerdasan intelektual dan emosional siswa. Katakunci : Kecerdasan Spiritual, Prestasi Belajar, Korelasi The background to the research is the issues encountered by students in solving their problems, where not each problem can be solved through reasoning, sometimes the problems have to be solved with spiritual approach; therefore, spiritual intelligence has to be developed to solve the problems they are posed with. There are many factors causing students’ high level of spiritual intelligence, one of them is the teaching and learning of Islamic Education in schools. The research aimed to find the correlation of learning achievements in Islamic Education and spiritual intelligence of the eleventh grade students of State SMA 4 Bandung. It employed quantitative approach, where the method used was inferential statistic, namely correlational statistic to correlate learning achievements in Islamic Education taken from students’ average grades of Islamic Education in their end-of-semester reports in the field of cognitive, practice and attitude to their spiritual intelligences obtained through questionnaire distribution. The population of this research was the whole eleventh grade students of State SMA 4 Bandung. Sample was taken using the technique of purposive sampling, namely by considering the sample taken. The sample in this research consisted of 77 eleventh grade students of State SMA 4 Bandung already taken into consideration by the researcher. Data collection techniques were done through gathering students’ grades of Islamic Education from their end-of-semester reports of the odd semester, a 50-item questionnaire, and library study. From the research results, based on a statistical test using the software of SPSS version 20 for window, the value of Pearson correlation of -0.108 was obtained with the value of Sig 0.348>0.05, which meant that H0 was accepted, and Ha was rejected. So, it could be concluded that there was no significant correlation between learning achievements in Islamic Education and spiritual intelligence. Meanwhile, the influence of learning achievements in Islamic Education on spiritual intelligence was 1,2 %. Based on these research outcomes, it is recommended: (1) Schools can increase activities relating to students’ spiritual intelligence; and (2) Teachers should pay more attention to the teaching and learning that is able to improve the quality of students’ spiritual intelligence, in addition to improving their intellectual and emotional intelligences.
