Abstract
Rendahnya hasil pembelajaran teks prosedur serta kesulitan yang dialami siswa selama proses belajar menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini dibuat. Solusi untuk permasalah tersebut dengan menggunakan media dan model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video stop motion berbasis model problem based learning terhadap pembelajaran teks prosedur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SDN Cemerlang dan SDN Sukakarya II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kelas eksperimen terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media video stop motion berbasis model problem based learning terhadap pembelajaran teks prosedur. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji paired sampel t-test dan perolehan kedua data yang signifikan. Nilai rata-rata pre-test kelas eksperimen yaitu 65,20, dan meningkat menjadi 84,93 pada post-test. Pada kelas kontrol, terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media flash card terhadap pembelajaran teks prosedur, walaupun hasil peningkatannya tidak sebesar kelas eksperimen. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji paired sampel t-test dan perolehan hasil nilai rata-rata pre-test yaitu sebesar 64,26 dan post-test sebesar 73,60. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara siswa yang menggunakan media video stop motion berbasis model problem based learning dan yang menggunakan media flash card terhadap pembelajaran teks prosedur. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji-t independen sampel t-test. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan teks prosedur yang dihasilkan kelas eksperimen lebih kompleks dan data hasil tulisan siswa menggambarkan kemampuan menulis dengan kalimat lebih panjang dan diksi beragam, sehingga media video stop motion berbasis model problem based learning efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran teks prosedur.

The low learning outcomes of procedural texts and the difficulties experienced by students during the learning process are the background of this research. The solution to this problem is to use innovative and effective media and learning models. This study aims to determine the effect of using stop motion video media based on the problem based learning model on learning procedural texts. The research method used in this study is Quasi Experiment using a non-equivalent control group design. The sample used in this study was grade V students at SDN Cemerlang and SDN Sukakarya II. The results showed that in the experimental class there was an effect of using stop motion video media based on the problem based learning model on learning procedural texts. This is evidenced by the results of the paired sample t-test and the acquisition of both significant data. The average pre-test value of the experimental class was 65.20, and increased to 84.93 in the post-test. In the control class, there was an effect of flash card media on learning procedural texts, although the increase was not as large as the experimental class. This is evidenced by the results of the paired sample t-test and the acquisition of the average pre-test value of 64.26 and the post-test of 73.60. The results of the study also showed that there was a difference in the influence between students who used stop motion video media based on the problem based learning model and those who used flash card media on learning procedural texts. This is evidenced by the results of the independent sample t-test. The conclusion of this study shows that the procedural text produced by the experimental class is more complex and the data from students' writing results illustrate the ability to write with longer sentences and diverse diction, so that stop motion video media based on the problem based learning model is effective for use in learning procedural texts.
