Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen sekolah melalui Studi Kasus di SMA Negeri 1 Ciwidey dan SMK Budi Bakti Ciwidey. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Merdeka Belajar dapat diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen sekolah, meliputi aspek perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Teori yang digunakan mencakup konsep Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, serta Efektivitas Manajemen Sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan partisipan penelitian yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakasek kurikulum, wakasek kesiswaan, guru, dan stakeholder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data yang mencakup identifikasi masalah, tinjauan pustaka, triangulasi data, analisis, interpretasi, dan pelaporan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator efektivitas manajemen sekolah, terutama pada tahap perencanaan, telah terpenuhi dengan baik di SMAN 1 Ciwidey dan SMK Budi Bakti Ciwidey. Kedua sekolah menerapkan prinsip kemandirian dan kontekstualitas pembelajaran sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, implementasi yang efektif tercermin dari personalisasi pembelajaran, kolaborasi antara siswa, guru, dan orang tua, serta relevansi pembelajaran. Namun, pelaksanaan kurikulum secara utuh baru berjalan di SMAN 1 Ciwidey pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dan di SMK Budi Bakti Ciwidey pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025, sehingga tahap evaluasi hanya dapat diukur untuk efisiensi jangka pendek. Efektivitas Manajemen Sekolah dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka bergantung pada integrasi yang baik antara tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang sesuai dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Ketiga tahapan tersebut, jika diselaraskan dengan prinsip kemandirian, personalisasi, kolaborasi, dan evaluasi yang bermakna, akan menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang lebih relevan, fleksibel, dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan siswa. Through case studies of Bandung Regency's high schools and vocational schools, this study attempts to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum has been used to increase the efficacy of school management. The question this study addresses is how Merdeka Belajar might be applied to enhance the effectivity of school management, encompassing planning, execution, and evaluation. The idea of implementing the Merdeka curriculum and the effectivity of school management are two of the theories that are employed. The school principle, the deputy principal for curriculum, the deputy principal for student affairs, instructors, and stakeholders are the research participants in this qualitative study. Techniques for gathering data included documentation, interviews, and observation. Problem identification, literature research, data triangulation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting were all part of the data analysis process. The results of the study indicate that indicators of school management effectiveness, especially at the planning stage, have been well met at SMAN 1 Ciwidey and SMK Budi Bakti Ciwidey. Both schools apply the principles of independence and contextuality of learning according to the Merdeka Curriculum. At the implementation stage, effective implementation is reflected in the personalization of learning, collaboration between students, teachers, and parents, and the relevance of learning. However, the implementation of the curriculum as a whole has only been running at SMAN 1 Ciwidey in 2023/2024 academic year and at SMK Budi Bakti Ciwidey in the 2024/2025 academic year, so the evaluation stage can only be measured for short term efficiency. The effectiveness of School Management in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum depends on good integration between the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. These three stages, if aligned with the principles of independence, personalization, collaboration, and meaningful evaluation, will create an education system that is more relevant, flexible, and adaptive to student needs.
