Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir logis sangat penting dalam pendidikan terutama untuk membantu siswa memahami berbagai konsep. Tenaga pendidik juga sangat berperan penting dalam membimbing siswa untuk berpikir kritis, analitis, dan menyimpulkan yang semuanya adalah bagian dari berpikir logis. Namun, masih banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam berpikir logis khususnya pada pemrograman yang mengakibatkan rendahnya pemahaman konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis siswa SMK melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan multimedia animasi 3D pada materi perulangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh ahli dengan skor 93% dan dikategorikan “sangat baik”, kemudian hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir logis siswa dari rata-rata pretest 49,5 menjadi 80,6 setelah posttest, dengan nilai gain sebesar 0,609 yang masuk dalam kategori “sedang”, selain itu angket TAM menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap multimedia dengan nilai rata-rata tanggapan 76,97% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Logical thinking skills are crucial in education, especially in helping students understand various concepts. Educators play a vital role in guiding students to think critically, analytically, and draw conclusions, all of which are components of logical thinking. However, many students still face difficulties in logical thinking, particularly in programming, leading to a low understanding of concepts. This study aims to enhance the logical thinking skills of vocational high school students through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by 3D animation multimedia on the topic of loops. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and a One Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The results show that the multimedia developed has been validated by experts with a score of 93%, categorized as “excelent”. Furthermore, the pretest and posttest results indicate an improvement in students’ logical thinking skills, with the average pretest score increasing from 49.5 to 80.6 after the posttest, and a gain score of 0,609, categorized as “moderate”. Additionally, the TAM questionnaire revealed that students gave positive responses to the multimedia, with an average response score of 76.97%, categorized as “excellent”.
