Abstract
Sekolah Kang Pisman adalah sebuah program yang merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kota Bandung melalui Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Bandung dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah yang terjadi di Kota Bandung. Program Kang Pisman merupakan kegiatan Kurangi, Pisahkan, dan Manfaatkan. Pemerintah berharap dapat mengurangi jumlah peningkatan sampah di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh data yang peneliti lakukan dilapangan yang di dasari langsung oleh kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan kepedulian lingkungan dan kurangnya edukasi masyarakat mengenai cara penanganan sampah dan pengolahan sampah secara mandiri. Peningkatan jumlah sampah terus melonjak dan belum dapat teratasi sepenuhnya hingga saat ini. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini antara lain : (1) Mendeskripsikan implementasi program Sekolah Kang Pisman sebagai sumber belajar IPS, (2) Menganalisis dampak program Sekolah Kang Pisman sebagai sumber literasi lingkungan bagi pesera didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif analisis dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan petugas di Sekolah Kang Pisman, wakil kepala sekolah, dan peserta didik di SMP Islam Cendekia Muda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa program Sekolah Kang Pisman dapat menjadi sumber belajar IPS dan dapat memberikan pengaruh berupa peningkatan kecerdasan ekologis, peningkatan kesadaran akan peduli lingkungan, dan pengetahuan mengenai pengolahan sampah, terutama bagi peserta didi dari SMP Islam Cendekia Muda Kota Bandung. Program Sekolah Kang Pisman di SMP Islam Cendekia Muda implementasikan dalam pembelajaran IPS dan model projek yang menghasilkan produk plastik ramah lingkungan yang berbahan dasar agar-agar. Kang Pisman School is a program that is one of the efforts made by the Bandung City Government through the Bandung City Environmental Service in overcoming the waste problem that occurs in Bandung City. The Kang Pisman Program is a Reduce, Separate, and Utilize activity. The government hopes to reduce the amount of increasing waste in Bandung City. This research is based on data that researchers conducted in the field which is directly based on the lack of public awareness of environmental concerns and the lack of public education on how to handle waste and waste processing independently. The increase in the amount of waste continues to soar and has not been fully resolved until now. The objectives of this study include: (1) Describing the implementation of the Kang Pisman School program as a source of social studies learning, (2) Analyzing the impact of the Kang Pisman School program as a source of environmental literacy for students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with officers at Kang Pisman School, vice principals, and students at SMP Islam Cendekia Muda. The results of this study indicate that the Kang Pisman School program can be a source of social studies learning and can provide an influence in the form of increasing ecological intelligence, increasing awareness of environmental care, and knowledge about waste management, especially for students from SMP Islam Cendekia Muda, Bandung City. The Kang Pisman School program at SMP Islam Cendekia Muda is implemented in social studies learning and a project model that produces environmentally friendly plastic products made from agar-agar.
