Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menigkatkan kosakata bahasa Indonesia anak melalui metode bercerita dengan media Let’s Read. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Partisipan yang terlibat adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun sebanyak 11 orang anak. Adapun pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada siklus I persentase yang diperoleh yaitu 37,5 % dengan kategori cukup, pada siklus ke II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 62% dengan kategori baik dan siklus ke III kembali meningkat menjadi 87% dengan kategori sangat baik. Untuk nilai N-Gain didapatkan hasil perhitungan dari kegiatan yang telah dilakukan yaitu sebesar 0,797 hasil perhitungan ini termasuk kedalam kategori tinggi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita dengan media Let’s Read dapat meningkatkan kosakata anak. ---------- This study aims to increase children's Indonesian vocabulary through storytelling method with Let’s Read media. The method used in this research is classroom action research method. The participants involved were children aged 5-6 years as many as 11 children. The data collection was done through observation, interviews, field notes and documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that in cycle I the percentage obtained was 37.5% with a sufficient category, in cycle II it increased to 62% with a good category and cycle III again increased to 87% with a very good category. For the N-Gain value, the calculation results obtained from the activities that have been carried out are 0.797 the results of this calculation are included in the high category. So it can be concluded that the storytelling method using Let’s Read media can increase children's vocabulary.
