Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi perlunya membangun keterampilan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah dalam peserta didik melalui pembelajaran sejarah. Melalui permasalahan tersebut, peneliti mencoba melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning berbasis situs Kota Kapur dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran model project-based learning berbasis situs Kota Kapur, 2) menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik pada posttest 1 dan posttest 2, 3) menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik pada posttest 2 dan posttest 3, 4) menganalisis efektifitas pembelajaran sejarah melalui model project-based learning berbasis situs Kota Kapur terhadap kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah pada posttest 1, 2, dan 3. Untuk melihat pengaruh penarapan model project-based learning berbasis situs Kota Kapur terhadap kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain time series. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA N 2 Mendo Barat. Populasi penelitian seluruh kelas X. Didapatkan sampel penelitian ialah Kelas X I dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik didapatkan hasil bahwa:1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan pembelajaran model project-based learning berbasis situs Kota Kapur, 2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik pada posttest 1 dan posttest 2, 3) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah peserta didik pada posttest 2 dan posttest 3, 4) terdapat efektivitas pembelajaran sejarah melalui model project-based learning berbasis situs Kota Kapur terhadap kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kesadaran sejarah posttest 1 , 2, dan 3. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran sejarah melalui model project-based learning berbasis situs Kota Kapur memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir imajinasi dan kemampuan kesadaran sejarah. This research is motivated by the need to build imagination thinking skills and historical awareness in students through history learning. Through these problems, researchers tried to see the effect of Project-Based Learning model based on Kota Kapur site in improving the ability to think imagination and historical awareness. This study aims to: 1) analyse the differences in the ability to think imaginatively and historical awareness of students before and after being given treatment using project-based learning model based on Kota Kapur site, 2) analyse the differences in the ability to think imaginatively and historical awareness of students in posttest 1 and posttest 2, 3) analyse the differences in the ability to think imaginatively and historical awareness of students in posttest 2 and posttest 3, 4) analyse the effectiveness of learning history through project-based learning model based on Kota Kapur site on the ability to think imaginatively and historical awareness in posttest 1, 2, and 3. To see the effect of applying project-based learning model based on Kota Kapur site on students' imagination thinking ability and historical awareness, researchers used quasi-experimental research method with time series design. This research was conducted at SMA N 2 Mendo Barat. The research population was all class X. The research sample was Class X I with purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of statistical tests obtained the results that: 1) there are differences in the ability to think imagination and historical awareness of students before and after being given treatment using project-based learning model learning based on the Kota Kapur site, 2) there are differences in the ability to think imagination and historical awareness of students in posttest 1 and posttest 2, 3) there are differences in the ability to think imagination and historical awareness of students in posttest 2 and posttest 3, 4) there is an effectiveness of learning history through project-based learning model based on the Kota Kapur site on the ability to think imagination and historical awareness of posttest 1, 2, and 3. So it can be concluded that learning history through project-based learning model based on Kota Kapur site has an influence on the ability to think imagination and historical awareness ability.
