Abstract

Ketercapaian tujuan pendidikan bergantung pada proses pembelajaran. Semakin tinggi hasil belajar siswa, semakin besar juga peluang untuk mencapai tujuan dari proses pembelajaran. Upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar yakni dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Media pembelajaran interaktif Nearpod dapat menjadi alternatif yang dapat membangun minat dan motivasi siswa sehingga hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat efektivitas media pembelajaran interaktif Nearpod dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi di SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung yakni rendahnya hasil belajar khususnya pada ranah kognitif aspek memahami (C2), menerapkan (C3), dan menganalisis (C4). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes pilihan ganda yang kemudian disebarkan kepada dua kelompok yang berbeda yakni kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif Nearpod efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif aspek memahami (C2), menerapkan (C3), dan menganalisis (C4). The achievement of educational goals depends on the learning process. The higher students’ learning outcomes, the greater opportunity to achieve the objectives og the learning process. Efforts to improve learning outcomes can be made by utilizing various learning media. The interactive learning media Nearpod can serve as an alternative that can enhance students’ interest and motivation, thereby improving their learning outcomes. This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of the interactive learning media Nearpod in enhancing students’ learning outcomes at SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. The research is motivated by the issue of a occuring at SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung, specifically yhe low learning outcomes, particularly in the cognitive domain of understanding (C2), applying (C3), and analyzing (C4). This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The instruments used in this research consisted of multiple-choice test, which were then distributed to two different groups: the experimental group and the control group. The results of this study indicate that the interactive learning media Nearpod in effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of understanding (C2), applying (C3), and analyzing (C4).
