Abstract

Yoseph Afryandi Saputra, Program Studi Pendidikan Pariwisata, Judul Skripsi “Pengembangan Modul Pemanduan Wisata Dalam Pemanfaatan Bangunan Heritage Praktik Tour guiding Siswa ULP SMK Pariwisata Telkom Bandung”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pemanduan wisata dalam pemanfaatan bangunan heritage praktik tour guiding di SMK Pariwisata Telkom Bandung, yang dirasakan belum maksimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan modul yang berkualitas dan menarik agar siswa dapat belajar secara mandiri serta terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan tersebut, dikembangkan modul berjudul “Modul Pemanduan Wisata Bangunan Heritage Kawasan Asia Afrika – Braga”. Modul ini diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan peserta didik Program Usaha Layanan Pariwisata (ULP) untuk menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja pariwisata, khususnya dalam bidang tour guiding. Proses pengembangan modul ini mengacu pada metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari langkah-langkah Borg & Gall (1989), yang terdiri dari tujuh tahap: penelitian dan pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan bentuk awal produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, dan revisi produk. Data yang diolah menggunakan kualitatif analisis deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket yang disebarkan kepada para ahli validator, termasuk ahli pembelajaran, ahli materi, ahli desain, dan ahli bahasa. Selanjutnya, angket juga disebarkan kepada 11 siswa Usaha Layanan Pariwisata SMK Pariwisata Telkom Bandung untuk mengukur tanggapan mereka terhadap modul yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian dari ahli pembelajaran mencapai 87,5%, menandakan modul layak digunakan. Ahli materi memberikan nilai 82,35%%, yang menunjukkan baik digunakan, sementara ahli desain menilai 84,63% dan ahli bahasa 92,5%, keduanya menunjukkan kualitas modul untuk pembelajaran. Penilaian siswa juga menunjukkan hasil positif: aspek tampilan mendapatkan 87,12%, aspek materi 82.39%, aspek penggunaan 85,23%, dan aspek manfaat 83,28%. Ini semua menunjukkan bahwa modul telah memberikan manfaat dan dapat digunakan secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Therefore, a high-quality and engaging module is needed to allow students to learn independently and actively participate in the learning process. To achieve this goal, a module titled “Tourism Guiding Module for Heritage Buildings in the Asia Afrika – Braga Area” was developed. This module is expected to prepare students of the Tourism Services Business (ULP) program to face challenges in the tourism industry, particularly in the field of tour guiding. The module development process follows a research and development method adapted from Borg & Gall (1989), consisting of seven stages: research and data collection, planning, development of the initial product form, design validation, design revision, small-scale testing, and product revision. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to expert validators, including experts in learning, content, design, and language. Additionally, questionnaires were distributed to 11 students from the ULP program at SMK Pariwiata Telkom Bandung to assess their responses to the developed module. The research results show that the evaluation from learning experts reached 87.5%, indicating that the module is suitable for use. Content experts gave a rating of 82.35%, indicating it is good for use, while design experts rated it 84.63% and language experts 92.5%, both reflecting the quality of the module for learning. Student evaluations also showed positive results: the display aspect scored 87.12%, content 82.39%, usability 85.23%, and benefits 83.28%. These results indicate that the module has provided benefits and can be effectively used in the learning process.
