    Abstract

kesejahteraan sosial-emosional: kemampuan sosial, kontrol diri, keberanian diri,
merasa bahagia atas kesuksesan teman-temannya.
    perkembangan sosial-emosional mereka lebih lanjut. ;
This study aims to describe the profile of social-emotional well-being of early
childhood children in Lembang District, focusing on six aspects of social-emotional
well-being: social skills, self-control, self-confidence, emotional stability, task
orientation, and enjoyment of exploration. Based on the research findings, the
social-emotional well-being of children in Lembang District is generally
categorized as "Prosperous." This category is determined based on criteria that
indicate that children are capable of establishing positive interactions with their
peers, such as sharing experiences and expressing the desire to join in activities
together. They also demonstrate good self-control, such as being able to wait their
turn, respect boundaries, and feel happy about their friends' successes. However, in
the aspects of self-confidence and emotional stability, children were found to fall
into the "Sufficiently Prosperous" category. This means that even though they enjoy
activities, they sometimes find it difficult to speak up when treated unfairly and may
not always be able to calm themselves in emotionally challenging situations. The
task orientation aspect indicates that children are independent and can work quickly,
but they may still need praise to enhance their motivation. The enjoyment of
exploration among children is quite good, as they are eager to explore new things
and have an optimistic outlook, although there are times when they need time to
familiarize themselves with new situations independently. Overall, these findings
indicate that although children in this area generally have good social-emotional
well-being, there are still areas that require further attention, particularly regarding
self-confidence and emotional stability. This research provides important
contributions to understanding the social-emotional well-being of early childhood
children in Lembang and can serve as a foundation for developing intervention
programs aimed at further supporting their social-emotional development.
