    Abstract

    Adanya kecemasan berbicara bahasa Korea nyatanya menjadi masalah yang terjadi di kelas berbicara. Penelitian dilakukan agar mengetahui tingkat kecemasan berbicara mahasiswa, dampak, serta faktor penyebabnya. Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif, peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui angket serta wawancara kepada mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Korea. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori milik Horwitz, dkk (1986) sehingga angket yang digunakan adalah Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) dengan beberapa modifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kecemasan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa tingkat dasar berada pada tingkat biasa saja yaitu di angka 3.161. Namun ketika harus berbicara bahasa Korea di kelas, tingkat kecemasan mereka tergolong tinggi. Dampak dari kecemasan berbicara yaitu kurangnya kontribusi mereka di dalam kelas sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya nilai yang didapat serta secara psikologis dapat menyebabkan stres. Kemudian faktor penyebab dari kecemasan yaitu rasa tidak percaya diri, kurangnya pengetahuan kosakata dan tata bahasa, takut membuat kesalahan saat berbicara, dan takut akan penilaian dosen.

    The existence of Korean speaking anxiety is in fact a problem that occurs in speaking classes. The research was conducted in order to find out the level of students' speaking anxiety, the impact, and the factors that cause it. By using quantitative and qualitative methods, researchers collected data through questionnaires and interviews with Korean Language Education students. This study uses the theory of Horwitz, et al (1986) so that the questionnaire used is the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) with some modifications. The results showed that the anxiety experienced by elementary level students was at an ordinary level at 3.161. However, when it comes to speaking Korean in class, their anxiety level is high. The impact of speaking anxiety is their lack of contribution in class, causing low grades and psychologically causing stress. Then the factors that cause anxiety are lack of confidence, lack of vocabulary and grammar knowledge, fear of making mistakes when speaking, and fear of the lecturer's judgment.

    한국어 말하기 불안은 실제로 말하기 수업에서 발생하는 문제입니다. 본 연구는 학생들의 말하기 불안의 정도와 영향, 그리고 그 원인 요인을 파악하기 위해 진행되었습니다. 연구진은 한국어교육과 학생들을 대상으로 설문지와 인터뷰를 통해 양적, 질적 방법을 사용하여 데이터를 수집했습니다. 본 연구에서는 Horwitz 등(1986)의 이론을 바탕으로 설문지를 일부 수정하여 외국어 교실 불안 척도(FLCAS)를 사용했습니다. 그 결과 기초 수준의 학생들이 경험하는 불안은 3.161로 보통 수준인 것으로 나타났습니다. 그러나 수업 시간에 한국어를 말할 때는 불안 수준이 높았습니다. 말하기 불안은 수업에 대한 기여도 부족으로 이어져 성적이 낮아지고 심리적으로 스트레스를 유발할 수 있습니다. 그 다음으로는 자신감 부족, 어휘 및 문법 지식 부족, 말하기 실수에 대한 두려움, 강사의 판단에 대한 두려움 등이 불안을 유발하는 요인으로 꼽힙니다.
