Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang berperan dalam mendukung kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bandung. Ekstrakurikuler futsal dipilih sebagai fokus penelitian karena perannya yang signifikan dalam pengembangan karakter, keterampilan, dan prestasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei menggunakan angket sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Responden penelitian adalah anggota aktif ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pelatih, organisasi, alat dan fasilitas, serta peran atlet memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam mendukung kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal. Pelatih berperan penting dalam pembinaan teknik dan motivasi atlet, sementara organisasi memberikan kerangka kerja yang terstruktur untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan. Alat dan fasilitas yang memadai mendukung kelancaran latihan dan pertandingan, sedangkan peran atlet sebagai peserta aktif memberikan dampak positif terhadap atmosfer dan semangat dalam tim. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi sekolah untuk meningkatkan dukungan terhadap kegiatan ekstrakurikuler futsal melalui peningkatan kualitas pelatihan, pengelolaan organisasi yang efektif, peningkatan fasilitas, dan pengembangan peran aktif siswa sebagai atlet. Implikasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pembinaan dan pengembangan ekstrakurikuler futsal serta memperkaya literatur mengenai pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga di sekolah. This research aims to explore the factors that play a role in supporting futsal extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 2 Bandung City. Extracurricular futsal was chosen as the focus of the research because of its significant role in developing student character, skills and achievements. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey method using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The research respondents were active members of the futsal extracurricular at SMA Negeri 2 Bandung City. The research results show that the factors of coaches, organization, tools and facilities, as well as the role of athletes have a significant influence in supporting futsal extracurricular activities. Coaches play an important role in developing athlete technique and motivation, while the organization provides a structured framework for the implementation of activities. Adequate equipment and facilities support the smooth running of training and matches, while the athlete's role as an active participant has a positive impact on the atmosphere and spirit within the team. This research provides recommendations for schools to increase support for futsal extracurricular activities through improving the quality of training, effective organizational management, improving facilities, and developing the active role of students as athletes. It is hoped that the implications of this research can make a positive contribution to the coaching and development of extracurricular futsal and enrich the literature on physical education and sports in schools.
