Abstract

Bimbingan karir memiliki peran penting dalam membantu siswa memahami diri mereka sendiri, dunia kerja, dan merencanakan masa depan mereka. Kurangnya layanan bimbingan karir di sekolah dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah, termasuk kebingungan dalam memilih karir berdasarkan minat, bakat, dan kemampuan. Tipe karir sebagai konsep penggolongan jenis karir berdasarkan kepribadian dengan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui profil tipe karir peserta didik dan menghasilkan rancangan program bimbingan karir berdasarkan tipe karir Holland. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sampel penelitian menggunakan sampel minimum pada peserta didik SMK Teknologi Industri Cimahi kelas XI berjumlah 195 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kecenderungan umum peserta didik di dominasi oleh tipe realistik (67.7%) dan tipe konvensional (50.3%). Hal tersebut sesuai antara tipe karir dengan jalur pendidikan yang ditempuh di SMK Teknologi Industri Pembangunan Cimahi adalah jenis pekerjaan yang termasuk dalam tipe realistik dan konvesional. Hal ini membutuhkan program bimbingan karir untuk menguatkan (reinforcement) tipe karirnya. Program bimbingan karir dirancang berdasarkan Panduan Operasional Penyelanggaran Bimbingan dan Konseling (POP BK) yang telah dilakukan uji rasional oleh ahli dan praktisi. Career guidance has an important role in helping students understand themselves, the world of work, and plan their future. Lack of career guidance services in schools can cause various problems, including confusion in choosing a career based on interests, talents and abilities. Career type is a classification of career types based on personality and environment. The aim of this research is to determine the profile of student career participants and produce a career guidance program plan based on Holland's career type. The research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The research sample used a minimum sample of students at Cimahi Industrial Technology Vocational School class XI, totaling 195 students. The research results show that the general tendency of students is dominated by the realistic type (67.7%) and the conventional type (50.3%). This is in accordance with the type of career and the educational path taken at the Cimahi Development Industrial Technology Vocational School, namely the type of work that is included in the realistic and conventional types. This requires a career guidance program to strengthen (strengthen) types of employment. The career guidance program is designed based on the Guidance and Counseling Implementation Operational Guidelines (POP BK) which have been rationally tested by experts and practitioners.
