Abstract

Siswa yatim piatu mengalami perubahan perilaku dan emosional ke arah negatif karena kurang mendapat dukungan yang memadai dari orang tua dan lingkungan sekitar. Diperlukan daya tahan atau resiliensi yang tinggi agar mereka dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi. Resiliensi merupakan daya tahan yang dimiliki seseorang ketika mengalami masalah dan mampu untuk bangkit kembali. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil resiliensi diri remaja yatim piatu di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Coblong Bandung serta rekomendasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling berdasarkan profil. Instrumen yang digunakan diadaptasi dari teori Reivich & Shatte yang terdiri dari 30 item yang memuat tujuh aspek resiliensi setelah dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Responden penelitian berjumlah 73 orang dengan 46 siswa yatim, 26 siswa piatu, dan satu siswa yatim piatu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan teknik survey. Hasil temuan menunjukkan tingkat resiliensi diri siswa yatim piatu di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Coblong Bandung mayoritas berada pada kategori tinggi dengan presentase 58,90%. Data empirik juga menunjukkan resiliensi diri berdasarkan aspek-aspek, terdapat empat aspek mayoritas memiliki kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata presentase 51,71%, dua aspek mayoritas memiliki kategori sedang dengan rata-rata presentase 45,89%, dan satu aspek memiliki kategori sangat tinggi dengan presentase 46,58%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat siswa yatim piatu yang belum mampu mengatasi masalah serta bangkit kembali sehingga memerlukan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang sesuai. Dihasilkan produk berupa buku panduan yang berisi prosedur mengenai layanan yang dapat diberikan untuk mengatasi resiliensi diri remaja yatim piatu. Orphaned students experience behavioral and emotional changes in a negative direction due to lack of adequate support from parents and the surrounding environment. High resilience is needed so that they can overcome the problems they face. Resilience is the endurance that a person has when experiencing problems and is able to bounce back. The study aims to describe the resilience profile of orphaned adolescents in public junior high schools in Coblong District Bandung as well as recommendations for guidance and counseling services based on the profile. The instrument used was adapted from Reivich & Shatte's theory consisting of 30 items containing seven aspects of resilience after validity and reliability tests. The research respondents totaled 73 people with 46 orphaned students, 26 orphaned students, and one orphaned student. The research used a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and survey techniques. The findings showed that the level of self-resilience of orphaned students in public junior high schools in Coblong District Bandung was mostly in the high category with a percentage of 58.90%. Empirical data also shows self-resilience based on aspects, there are four aspects of the majority have a high category with an average percentage of 51.71%, two aspects of the majority have a medium category with an average percentage of 45.89%, and one aspect has a very high category with a percentage of 46.58%. The results showed that there were orphaned students who had not been able to overcome problems and bounce back so that they needed appropriate guidance and counseling services. The resulting product is a guidebook containing procedures regarding services that can be provided to overcome the resilience of orphaned adolescents.
