Abstract

Pemanfaatan media inovatif untuk sumber belajar masih belum optimal, dengan penggunaan buku cerita dan lembar hasil kerja anak yang sulit diakses secara visual oleh anak-anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan pop up book pengenalan sayuran sebagai media edukasi untuk pendampingan anak prasekolah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan Research and Development dengan Model penelitian Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). Perancangan dimulai dengan analisis kebutuhan melalui observasi dan wawancara, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses pembuatan rancangan awal desain menggunakan aplikasi canva. Pengembangan pop up book meliputi identitas buku, pendahuluan, isi buku dan penutup. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi menggunakan lembar expert judgement untuk menilai kelayakan media. Hasil validasi baik dari media meliputi penyajian buku, penyajian komunikasi visual menunjukan bahwa pop up book pengenalan sayuran sangat sesuai untuk digunakan, demikian juga konten materi meliputi kelengkapan materi, relevansi materi dan kebahasaan menunjukan bahwa media edukasi pop up book pengenalan sayuran sangat sesuai untuk digunakan. Pelaksanaan uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada anak prasekolah di Taman Kanak- Kanak PGRI Tunas Harapan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa pop up book pengenalan sayuran sangat sesuai digunakan sebagai media edukasi di Taman Kanak-Kanak PGRI Tunas Harapan. Rekomendasi bagi kepala sekolah, pop up book pengenalan sayuran dapat menjadi referensi dalam memperkaya media edukasi sekolah. Bagi guru, pop up book pengenalan sayuran dapat digunakan sebagai media edukasi yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, dapat melanjutkan peneliti ini dengan menyempurnakan kekurangan terkait materi dan media yang digunakan. The utilization of innovative media for learning resources is still not optimal, with the use of storybooks and children's worksheets that are difficult to access visually by children. The purpose of this study was to develop a pop up book of vegetable introduction as an educational media for preschool children assistance. The method used is the Research and Development approach with the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) research model. The design begins with a needs analysis through observation and interviews, then continues with the process of making an initial design using the Canva application. Pop up book development includes book identity, introduction, book content and cover. Validation was carried out by media experts and material experts using expert judgment sheets to assess the feasibility of the media. The results of validation both from the media include the presentation of the book, the presentation of visual communication shows that the pop up book introduction to vegetables is very suitable for use, as well as the material content includes the completeness of the material, the relevance of the material and the language shows that the pop up book educational media introduction to vegetables is very suitable for use. The limited trial was conducted on preschool children at the PGRI Tunas Harapan Kindergarten. The evaluation results show that the pop up book introduction to vegetables is very suitable for use as educational media at the PGRI Tunas Harapan Kindergarten. Recommendations for school principals, pop up book introduction to vegetables can be a reference in enriching school educational media. For teachers, pop up book introduction to vegetables can be used as educational media that supports the learning process. For future researchers, they can continue this research by perfecting the shortcomings related to the materials and media used.
