Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi media pembelajaran interaktif. Namun banyak guru yang masih belum mampu memaksimalkan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dapat berdampak pada penurunan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media articulate storyline 3 terhadap motivasi belajar. Metode penelitian ini yaitu quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Indikator motivasi belajar, yaitu dorongan dan kebutuhan untuk belajar, hasrat atau keinginan untuk berhasil, harapan dan cita-cita, lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, kegiatan yang menarik, dan penghargaan dalam belajar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X-9 dan kelas X-3 SMAN 1 Jatiwangi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis (uji paired sample t-test, uji independent sample t-test) dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 1) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan media pembelajaran articulate storyline 3 di kelas eksperimen dengan hasil uji paired sample t-test yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05; 2) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar sebelum dengan sesudah penggunaan media pembelajaran power point di kelas kontrol dengan hasil uji paired sample t-test yang memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05; 3) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan hasil uji independent sample t-test yang memperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05; dan 4) Hasil uji regresi linear sederhana diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 artinya terdapat pengaruh variabel media articulate storyline 3 terhadap variabel motivasi belajar. Tabel Model Summary regresi linear sederhana diperoleh koefisien determinasi R square 0.486 artinya pengaruh media articulate storyline 3 sebesar 48.6%. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif, inovatif dan kreatif pada pembelajaran geografi untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Technological advances can be utilized as interactive learning media. However, many teachers are still unable to maximize the use of learning media which can have an impact on decreasing learning motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of articulate storyline 3 media on learning motivation. This research method uses a quasi-experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Indicators of learning motivation are the encouragement and need to know, desire or desire to succeed, hopes and ideals, conducive learning environment, interested activities, and rewards in learning. This research was conducted in class X-9 and class X-3 of SMAN 1 Jatiwangi. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used normality test, homogeneity test, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing (paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test), and simple linear regression test. The results showed 1) there was a difference in learning motivation before and after the use of articulate storyline 3 learning media in the experimental class with the results of paired sample t-test which obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; 2) there was a difference in learning motivation before and after the use of PowerPoint learning media in the control class with the results of paired sample t-test which obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; 3) there was a difference in learning motivation in the experimental class and control class with the results of independent sample t-test which obtained a sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05; and 4) The results of the simple linear regression test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 which means that there is an influence of the articulate storyline 3 media variable on the learning motivation variable. The simple linear Model Summary table obtained the coefficient of determination R square 0.486, meaning that the influence of articulate storyline 3 media is 48.6%. This research is expected to be a reference in the use of interactive, innovative and creative learning media in geography learning to increase students' learning motivation.
