    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru, serta mengidentifikasi hubungan antara peran kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru di TK Negeri Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel Peran Kepala Sekolah (X) dan Kinerja Guru (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif-korelasi dengan melibatkan 30 guru TK Negeri di Kota Bandung sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur peran kepala sekolah (pendidik, manajer, administrasi, pemimpin, supervise, innovator, motivator) serta kinerja guru (mendidik, mengajar,
    membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, mengevaluasi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara peran kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru dengan tingkatan kategori sedang. Artinya, semakin baik peran kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinan instruksional, kepemimpinan transformasional, dan manajemen sumber daya, maka semakin tinggi kinerja guru
    di TK Negeri Kota Bandung. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah peran kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Oleh karena itu, kepala sekolah perlu meningkatkan perannya dalam ketiga aspek
    tersebut untuk mendorong kinerja guru yang lebih baik.

    This research aims to analyze the role of school principals in improving teacher performance, as well as identifying the relationship between the role of school principals and teacher performance in Bandung City State Kindergartens. This research consists of two variables: Role of the Principal (X) and Teacher Performance (Y). This research used a descriptive-correlational quantitative method involving 30 state kindergarten teachers in Bandung City as samples. Data
    was collected through a questionnaire that measured the role of the school principal (educator, manager, administration, leader, supervisor, innovator, motivator) as well as teacher performance (educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training,
    assessing, evaluating). The results of the research show that there is a significant positive relationship between the role of the principal and teacher performance at a medium category level.T his means that the better the principal's role in
    instructional leadership, transformational leadership and resource management, the higher the performance of teachers in Bandung City State Kindergartens. The conclusion of this research is that the role of the principal has a significant influence in improving teacher performance. Therefore, school principals need to increase their role in these three aspects to encourage better teacher performance.
