Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI-4 SMA Negeri 1 Cipeundeuy dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila sehingga berdampak pada kurangnya keterlibatan siswa, rendahnya pemahaman materi, dan menurunnya kualitas pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Hal ini mengharuskan adanya perbaikan pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara bertahap dari mulai proses, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Edutainment hadir sebagai alternatif pembelajaran untuk mengatasi masalah rendahnya motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana model edutainment dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI-4 SMA Negeri 1 Cipeundeuy. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi, tes, angket, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dengan menerapkan model edutainment berbantuan film pendek, snowball throwing, dan quiz game bamboozle menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan motivasi belajar selama pelaksanaan tindakan siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III. Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh dari adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa rata-rata ketuntasan siswa sebesar 93, peningkatan rata-rata keaktifan siswa sebesar 80%, dan perolehan angket motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dengan menerapkan model edutainment dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI-4 SMA Negeri 1 Cipeundeuy. This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students in class This requires that learning improvements be carried out in stages starting from the process, implementation and evaluation. Edutainment exists as a learning alternative to overcome the problem of low learning motivation. This research aims to determine the extent to which the edutainment model can increase the learning motivation of class XI-4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Cipeundeuy. The research approach used is qualitative and quantitative using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The instruments used consisted of observation sheets, tests, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and field notes. The results obtained from learning Pancasila Education by implementing the edutainment model assisted by short films, snowball throwing, and the bamboozle quiz game show that students experienced increased learning motivation during the implementation of cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III actions. The increase in student learning motivation was obtained from an increase in student learning outcomes, an average of 93 student completion results, an increase in the average student activity level of 80%, and the acquisition of student learning motivation questionnaires. Thus, learning Pancasila education by applying the edutainment model can increase the learning motivation of class XI-4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Cipeundeuy..
