Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul “Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah (Penelitian Deskriptif Di Sekolah Penggerak SMA Negeri 19 Bandung)”. Fokus penelitian ini berpusat kepada 3 pertanyaan penelitian, bagaimana perencanaan, penerapan serta kendala dan upaya yang dihadirkan untuk memaksimalkan penerapan kurikulum merdeka khusunya dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Tujuan utama dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti ini ialah untuk memperoleh gambaran dan dapat mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keresahan & ketertarikan peneliti terhadap kurikulum yang terus berganti sehingga memaksa siswa, guru dan sekolah untuk selalu beradaptasi dengan pemangku kebijakan. Kurikulum merdeka mempunyai ciri khas flexibilitas dan berdiferensiasi dalam perencanaan & pelaksaanaan pembelajaran, yang tujuannya baik namun terkendala disisi penerapannya. Sehingga hal ini berpengaruh kepada proses penerapan kurikulum merdeka menjadi kurang maksimal khususnya dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah penggerak SMA Negeri 19 Bandung. Indikator dalam penelitian ini mengacu kepada indikator perencanaan pembelajaran serta praktik mengajar. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Deskriptif, metode penelitian ini digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data-data yang sifatnya deskriptif dari suatu gejala atau fenomena yang terjadi. Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian, peneliti melihat perencanaan dan pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran sejarah sudah dimaksimalkan, melalui pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran, asesmenasesmen, praktik mengajar yang baik, serta siswa yang bersedia belajar membuat projek. Kompenen-komponen dalam indikator perencanaan pembelajaran & praktik mengajar udah dilakukan sepenuhnya sehingga penerapan kurikulum merdeka dalam pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah penggerak SMA Negeri 19 Bandung dapat dikatakan berhasil. This thesis is titled "Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in History Education (A Descriptive Study at 19 Senior Highschool Bandung, a Pioneering School)". The research focuses on three key questions: how the curriculum is planned, how it is implemented, and what challenges and efforts are made to maximize the application of the Merdeka curriculum, particularly in history education. The main objective of this research is to obtain a clear understanding and description of the planning and implementation processes of the Merdeka curriculum in history education. The research is motivated by the researcher's concern and interest in the constantly changing curriculum, which forces students, teachers, and schools to continuously adapt to the policies set by authorities. The Merdeka curriculum is characterized by flexibility and differentiation in planning and implementing learning, which, although well-intentioned, faces challenges in its application. As a result, this affects the implementation process, making it less than optimal, especially in history education. This study was conducted at 19 Senior Highschool Bandung, a pioneering school. The indicators in this study refer to the indicators of lesson planning and teaching practices. The research method used is the Descriptive Research Method, which is employed to collect descriptive data on a phenomenon or event. Based on the research data, the researcher found that the planning and implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in history education have been optimized through the development of lesson plans, assessments, good teaching practices, and students' willingness to engage in projects. The components within the indicators of lesson planning and teaching practices have been fully implemented, leading to the conclusion that the application of the Merdeka curriculum in history education at 19 Senior Highschool Bandung can be considered successful.
