Abstract

Self-esteem dapat didefinisikan sebagai evaluasi seseorang pada pribadinya sendiri. self-efficacy adalah keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuannya untuk menuntaskan tugas dan mengatasi masalah. Idealnya, apabila siswa mempunyai tingkat self-esteem dan self-efficacy yang tinggi maka siswa tersebut mempunyai motivasi dalam menyelesaikan tugas yang tinggi pula. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai tingkat self-esteem, self-efficacy, dan motivasi dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-esteem dan self-efficacy terhadap motivasi dalam menyelesaikan tugas. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan survei dan observasi. Populasi yang terlibat adalah siswa DPIB di SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur pada Fase F. Jumlah sampel penelitian yakni sebanyak 55 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapat: (1) siswa di SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur memiliki tingkat self-esteem yang sedang, (2) siswa di SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur memiliki tingkat self-efficacy yang sedang, (3) tingkat motivasi dalam menyelesaikan tugas siswa di SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur berada pada tingkat sedang, (4) terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari tingkat self-esteem terhadap motivasi dalam menyelesaikan tugas siswa di SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur, (5) terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari tingkat self-efficacy terhadap motivasi dalam menyelesaikan tugas siswa di SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur, serta (6) tingkat self-esteem dan self-efficacy secara signifikan memengaruhi motivasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas di SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur. Self-esteem can be defined as a person's evaluation of his or her own self. Self-efficacy is an individual's belief in his or her ability to complete tasks and overcome problems. Ideally, if a student has a high level of self-esteem and self-efficacy, then the student will also have high motivation to complete assignments. This research was conducted to know the level of self-esteem, self-efficacy and motivation in completing tasks and to find out the influence of self-esteem and self-efficacy on motivation to complete tasks. The approach used is quantitative with associative methods. The data collection methods used in this study are surveys and observations. The population involved was DPIB students at SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur in Phase F. The total research sample was 55 students. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that: (1) students at SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur have a moderate level of self-esteem, (2) students at SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur also have a moderate level of self-efficacy, (3) the level of motivation in completing assignments for students at SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur is at a moderate level, (4) there is a significant influence of the level of self-esteem on motivation in completing students’ assignments at SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur, (5) there is a significant influence of the level of self-efficacy on motivation in completing students’ assignments at SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur, and (6) the level of self-esteem and self-efficacy significantly influence the students' motivation in completing assignments at SMKN 1 Cilaku Cianjur.
