Abstract
Kemampuan beradaptasi karier sangat penting bagi lulusan SMK dalam menghadapi tantangan karier masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan bimbingan desain kehidupan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan beradaptasi karier peserta didik SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma positivisme, pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen kuasi design non equivalent pretest posttest control group. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen Kemampuan Beradaptasi karier dikembangkan dan digunakan untuk pengumpulan data kemampuan beradaptasi peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik non parametrik Uji Mann Whitney U Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil kemampuan beradaptasi karier peserta didik berada pada kategori cukup mampu, dengan 67% peserta didik menunjukkan kemampuan adaptasi yang memadai. Setelah intervensi bimbingan desain kehidupan, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan beradaptasi karier peserta didik, terutama dalam aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa bimbingan desain kehidupan efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan peserta didik menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja.Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi praktik bimbingan dan konseling di SMK, serta menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan program bimbingan yang lebih komprehensif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan beradaptasi karier peserta didik. Career adaptability is very important for vocational school graduates in facing future career challenges. This research aims to produce effective life design guidance to improve the career adaptability of students at SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi academic year 2023/2024. This research uses a positivism paradigm, a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design non-equivalent pretest posttest control group method. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The Career Adaptability Instrument was developed and used to collect data on students' adaptability. The data analysis technique uses non-parametric statistical tests, the Mann Whitney U Test. The research results show that the career adaptability profile of students is in the quite capable category, with 67% of students showing adequate adaptability. After the life design guidance intervention, there was a significant increase in students' career adaptability, especially in the aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills. This research indicates that life design guidance is effective in increasing students' readiness to face challenges in the world of work. This research contributes to the practice of guidance and counseling in vocational schools, as well as being the basis for developing a more comprehensive guidance program to improve students' career adaptability.
