Abstract
Bahan ajar yang diterapkan pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs An Nahdlah masih jarang digunakan oleh siswa sehingga mereka tidak terbiasa belajar mandiri. Bahan ajar berprogram tipe branching menjadi alternatif sumber belajar karena terdapat bingkai penguatan yang memicu siswa belajar hingga tuntas secara mandiri. Secara umum, rumusan masalah penelitiannya bermaksud menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar berprogram tipe branching berbasis PowerPoint terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa yang dilakukan pada mata Pelajaran Fikih di MTs An Nahdlah Makassar. Rincian rumusan masalah khusus penelitiannya ialah perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada kemandirian belajar. Awareness, Learning Strategy, Learning Activities, Evaluation, dan Interpersonal Skills yang menjadi kelima aspek kemandirian belajar berbasis teori self-directed learning tersebut dideskripsikan dan dianalisis sebagai tujuan penelitian. Kuasi-eksperimen dengan control group design diterapkan sebagai metode penelitian pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang terpilih dari populasi kelas IX MTs An Nadhlah Makassar berdasarkan teknik cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dari angket pre-test dan post-test yang dijadikan instrumen penelitian. Secara umum, hasil penelitian mendapati bahwa perbedaan kemandirian belajar untuk mata pelajaran Fikih siswa kelas IX MTs An Nahdlah lebih tinggi pada siswa pengguna bahan ajar berprogram tipe branching dibandingkan siswa pengguna bahan ajar berprogram tipe linear. Adapun untuk hasil rumusan masalah khusus, nilai dari t-hitung yang lebih besar dari t-tabel pada seluruh aspek kemandirian belajar yang diteliti. Jadi, terbukti bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam kemandirian belajar siswa kelas IX MTs An Nadhlah Makassar usai digunakannya bahan ajar berprogram tipe branching berbasis PowerPoint. Students at MTs An Nahdlah rarely utilize the learning materials through the Fiqh subject, which discourages them from getting used to self-directed learning. Branching-type programmed learning material is offered as an alternative learning resource, as it has a "reinforcement frame" that encourages students to learn independently until mastered the materials. The main research question seeks to examine the effect of the branching-type programmed teaching materials based on PowerPoint usage on students' self-directed learning, through the Fiqh subject at MTs An Nahdlah Makassar. The specific research questions concern the differences between the experimental and control class in self-directed learning. Awareness, Learning Strategy, Learning Activities, Evaluation, and Interpersonal Skills which are the five aspects of self-directed learning are described and analyzed as the research objectives. The quasi-experimental research method with control-group design is used in both the experimental and control classes, which were drawn from the population of grade IX MTs An Nadhlah Makassar using cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected from pre-test and post-test questionnaires as the research instrument. The study results generally revealed that students who used branching-type of programmed learning materials had a higher degree of self-directed learning for Fiqh learning than students who used the linear-type. As for the specific research questions, the t-count outperformed the t-table in all aspects of self-directed learning studied. So, it was proved that there is a significant difference in the self-directed learning of grade IX students at MTs An Nadhlah Makassar after using branching-type programmed learning material based on PowerPoint.
