Abstract

-------------- This research is motivated by the many learning outcomes of grade IV students who are still low in learning sciences, especially plant life cycle materials because the teaching materials provided at school are not in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school students, where it is rare to associate the material discussed with the problems that occur around students. This research aims to describe these problems by developing teaching modules to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The teaching module products were validated by experts and received a score of 95.67% from material experts with a category of very feasible to be implemented, 89.47% from media experts with a category of very feasible to implement, and a score of 97.77% from learning experts with a category of very feasible. The validated product was then tested on 28 students. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, there was an increase in the average score from 32.5 to 93.57 and an N-gain value of 0.88 was obtained, indicating that there was an increase in the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students after using the IPAS teaching module.
