    Abstract

    Model pendidikan karakter yang berpusat pada pengembangan seluruh aspek atau dimensi
    manusia secara menyeluruh dan seimbang dikenal sebagai Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis
    Karakter (PHBK). Model Pendidikan holistik Berbasis karakter (PHBK) salah satu model
    yang diyakini dapat mengembangkan sikap mandiri. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk
    mendeskripsikan tentang PHBK, proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran, keunggulan model
    Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK), Peran dan evaluasi model Pendidikan
    holistik Berbasis karakter dalam mengembangkan sikap kemandirian anak. Metode
    penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Partisipan dalam
    penelitian ini satu guru, dan kepala sekolah dengan subjek 2 orang anak kelas B. Lokasi
    penelitian ini bertempat di TK Karakter Alif Kecamatan Pondok Gede, Kota Bekasi.
    Pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang
    dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan
    kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model PHBK ini membantu
    perkembangan kemandiran anak. Ditemukan bahwa adanya perubahan sikap dan pola pikir
    yang lebih mandiri, dan hal ini secara langsung terkait dengan adanya pedoman,
    pembiasaan, penghargaan, bimbingan, dan konsistensi dalam penerapan model PHBK,
    yang memiliki keunggulan dalam mengintegrasikan sembilan pilar karakter dan media
    pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model PHBK
    merupakan model yang efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan kemandirian anak, dan
    merekomendasikan penerapan model ini di berbagai lembaga pendidikan untuk
    menghasilkan generasi yang mandiri dan berkarakter.

    The character education model that centers on the development of all aspects or
    dimensions of human beings as a whole and balanced is known as Character-Based
    Holistic Education (CBHE). Character-based Holistic Education (CBHE) model is one of
    the models that is believed to develop an independent attitude. The purpose of this study is
    to describe CBHE, the learning implementation process, the advantages of the Character Based Holistic Education (CBHE) model, the role and evaluation of the Character-Based
    Holistic Education model in developing children's independent attitudes. The research
    method used is qualitative with a case study design. The participants in this study were one
    teacher, and the principal with the subject of 2 class B children. The location of this
    research is at Alif Character Kindergarten, Pondok Gede District, Bekasi City. Data
    collection is in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was
    carried out using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and
    conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that this CBHE model helps the
    development of children's independence. It was found that there is a change in attitude and
    mindset that is more independent, and this is directly related to the guidelines, habituation,
    appreciation, guidance, and consistency in the application of the CBHE model, which has
    the advantage of integrating the nine pillars of character and the learning media used. This
    study concludes that the CBHE model is an effective model in supporting the development
    of children's independence, and recommends the application of this model in various
    educational institutions to produce an independent and characterful generation.
