Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kurang teraturnya teori dengan praktik langsung dalam pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar. Padahal pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar memiliki tujuan untuk membimbing siswa dalam mengembangkan kreativitas, sehingga diperlukan metode pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung perkembangan kreativitas siswa. Metode field trip merupakan pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk melengkapi pengalaman belajar tertentu dimana siswa mengunjungi tempat-tempat tertentu untuk mempelajari dan menyelidiki tempat tersebut dengan tujuan untuk belajar. Fokus penelitian yang akan diteliti dalam skripsi ini adalah; 1) Bagaimanakah penerapan metode field trip ke Museum Keramik Plered pada pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar? 2) Bagaimana upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar melalui metode field trip? 3) Apa saja kelebihan dan kekurangan dari penerapan metode field trip pada pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode field trip ke Museum Keramik Plered pada pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar sebagai upaya mengembangkan kreativitas siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Penerapan metode field trip pada pembelajaran seni rupa di kelas IV SD Negeri Sirnamanah dapat dilaksanakan dengan tahapan persiapan dan pelaksanaan, menghasilkan pembelajaran seni rupa yang lebih efektif. 2) Dalam upaya meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, guru menerapkan fostering, identifying, dan encouraging. 3) Metode field trip memiliki kelebihan untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, memberikan pemahaman siswa terhadap karya seni rupa 3 dimensi, serta mampu merangsang kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran seni rupa yang ditunjukkan dalam karya seni yang dihasilkan. Namun kegiatan field trip memerlukan koordinasi dengan banyak pihak, biaya yang cukup tinggi. The background of this research is the lack of alignment between theory and practical application in art education at the elementary school level. In fact, art education in elementary schools aims to guide students in developing creativity, thus requiring teaching methods that support the development of students' creativity. The field trip method is used to enhance specific learning experiences, where students visit certain places to study and investigate those places with the purpose of learning. The focus of the research to be examined in this thesis is: 1) How is the implementation of the field trip method to the Plered Ceramic Museum in art education at the elementary school level? 2) What teacher efforts can be made to enhance students' creativity in art education at the elementary school level through the field trip method? 3) What are the advantages and disadvantages of implementing the field trip method in art education at the elementary school level? This research aims to describe the application of the field trip method to the Plered Ceramic Museum in art education at the elementary school level as an effort to develop students' creativity. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results show that: 1) The implementation of the field trip method in art education for the fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Sirnamanah can be carried out through preparation and execution phases, resulting in more effective art learning. 2) In efforts to enhance student creativity, teachers apply fostering, identifying, and encouraging. 3) The field trip method has the advantage of providing a fun learning experience, giving students a better understanding of three-dimensional artworks, and stimulating student creativity in art education, as evidenced by the artworks produced. However, field trip activities require coordination with many parties and involve significant costs.
