Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pemanfaatan platform media sosial TikTok sebagai sarana pembelajaran bahasa asing, khususnya bahasa Korea. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah menganalisis strategi menyuguhkan konten pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh Amelia Tantono di akun TikTok-nya. Teori yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah "Four Pillar" yang dikemukakan oleh Lon Safko dalam “The Social Media Bible”. Teori ini mencakup empat elemen utama: komunikasi, kolaborasi, edukasi, dan hiburan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan Amelia Tantono melalui konten sketsa edukatif sangat efektif dalam menarik minat dan meningkatkan pemahaman penonton terhadap bahasa Korea. Penggunaan bahasa yang sederhana, visual yang menarik, serta interaksi langsung dengan pengikut membuat konten tersebut mudah diikuti oleh audiens yang beragam. Konten yang memadukan unsur hiburan dan edukasi mampu menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan bagi penonton, sehingga meningkatkan engagement dan memperkuat keterlibatan pengguna dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, kolaborasi yang dilakukan oleh kreator dengan tokoh atau pengguna lain memperluas jangkauan dan membuat pembelajaran lebih dinamis. Kesimpulannya, strategi konten yang diterapkan pada akun TikTok @amelia_tantono terbukti efektif dalam membangun interaksi dan meningkatkan pemahaman penonton terhadap materi bahasa Korea. Model pembelajaran ini dapat dijadikan rujukan untuk pengembangan strategi pembelajaran bahasa asing lainnya melalui platform media sosial. Based on the development of TikTok as a potential platform for learning foreign languages, particularly Korean, this study aims to analyze the content strategies used by Amelia Tantono on her TikTok account to teach Korean. The theoretical framework used in this research is the "Four Pillar" theory proposed by Lon Safko in “The Social Media Bible”, which consists of communication, collaboration, education, and entertainment. This research employs a qualitative method with the techniques of observation, documentation, and interviews. The results indicate that the educational content in sketch format presented by Amelia Tantono effectively increases the interest and understanding of her viewers regarding the Korean language. The combination of educational elements with entertainment elements enhances user engagement and makes learning more accessible and enjoyable. In conclusion, the learning strategy employed in the TikTok account @amelia_tantono serves as an ideal model for teaching foreign languages via social media. The study highlights how this approach can foster more active learning through digital media, especially among younger audiences who are more inclined toward platforms like TikTok. 틱톡이 외국어, 특히 한국어 학습을 위한 잠재적인 플랫폼으로 발전함에 따라 본 연구는 아멜리아 탄토노가 자신의 틱톡 계정에서 사용하는 한국어 교육 콘텐츠 전략을 분석하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 본 연구에서 사용된 이론적 틀은 론 사프코가 “The Social Media Bible”에서 제시한 ‘Four Pillar’ 이론으로, 커뮤니케이션, 협력, 교육, 엔터테인먼트로 구성되어 있습니다. 본 연구는 관찰, 문서화, 인터뷰 기법을 활용한 질적 연구 방법을 사용합니다. 연구 결과, 아멜리아 탄토노가 제시한 스케치 형식의 교육 콘텐츠가 시청자의 한국어에 대한 관심과 이해를 효과적으로 높이는 것으로 나타났습니다. 교육적 요소와 엔터테인먼트 요소의 결합은 사용자 참여를 증진시키며 학습을 더 쉽게 만들고 즐겁게 합니다. 결론적으로, 틱톡 계정 @amelia_tantono에서 사용된 학습 전략은 소셜 미디어를 통한 외국어 교육의 이상적인 모델로 활용될 수 있습니다. 이 연구는 특히 젊은 층이 선호하는 틱톡 같은 플랫폼을 통해 디지털 미디어를 통한 더 적극적인 학습을 촉진할 수 있는 방법을 강조합니다.
