Ahmad Maqruf, - (2024) PENERAPAN MODEL PROJECT-BASED LABORATORY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF DAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KREATIF SISWA SMA PADA MATERI SUHU DAN KALOR. S2 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
The project-based laboratory model is a hands-on activity that emphasizes the completion of projects as an outcome of laboratory practice to apply concepts that have been confirmed and discovered during hands-on activities. This study aims to provide an overview of the effectiveness of the project-based laboratory model in improving students' cognitive and creative thinking skills. The research method used in this study is experimental research with a quasi-experimental design. In this design, there are two research groups: the experimental group and the control group. The results of the study indicate that the project-based laboratory is effective in improving students' cognitive skills and creative thinking skills. Based on the N-gain test results, the average N-gain score for the cognitive ability test in the experimental class was 0.78, categorized as high, and 0.40 in the control class, categorized as medium. In addition, the average N-gain score for the test of creative thinking skills in the experimental class was 0.67, categorized as medium, and 0.29 in the control class, categorized as low. Furthermore, the project-based laboratory model has a high effectiveness in training cognitive skills and a moderate effectiveness in training creative thinking skills
