Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan memahami konsep dan karakter yang dikatagorikan masih rendah. Adapun indikator untuk mengukur karakter diambil dari dokumen kurikulum merdeka Dimana terdiri dari empat dimensi dan berbagai elemen. Diantaranya dimensi mandiri, berpikir kritis, gotong royong dan kreatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran RADEC terintegrasi Teaching at Right Level (TaRL) pada materi energi dan perubahannya kelas IV di sekolah dasar pada kemampuan memahami konsep dan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan dianalisis dengan statistik des kriptif yang melibatkan siswa kelas SD di kota Bandung sebanyak 43 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes berupa soal uraian untuk mengukur kemampuan memahami. Lembar observasi untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran RADEC terintegrasi TaRL. Lembar angket untuk mengetahui kemunculan karakter dan respons siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model RADEC terintegrasi TaRL yang seluruhnya telah dinyatakan valid dan Reliable oleh ahli maupun ujicoba lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Penerapan model RADEC terintegrasi TaRL yang tahapannya terdiri dari Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain dan Create dapat meningkatkan kemampuan memahami dan memunculkan karakter yang sangat positif, kemampuan memahami konsep siswa menggunakan model RADEC terintegrasi TaRL, meningkat secara signifikan dibandingkan sebelum diberikan treatment menggunkan model RADEC terintegrasi TaRL. This research is motivated by the ability to understand concepts and characters which are categorized as still low. The indicators for measuring character are taken from the independent curriculum document, which consists of four dimensions and various elements. These include the dimensions of independence, critical thinking, mutual cooperation and creativity. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness and implementation of the RADEC integrated Teaching at Right Level (TaRL) learning model on energy material and its changes in class IV in elementary schools on students' ability to understand concepts and character. This research is quantitative research and was analyzed using descriptive statistics involving 43 elementary school students in the city of Bandung. The instrumen used is a test instrumen in the form of essay questions to measure understanding ability. Observation sheet to determine the implementation of TaRL integrated RADEC learning. Questionnaire sheet to determine the emergence of character and student responses after learning using the TaRL integrated RADEC model, all of which have been declared valid and reliable by experts and field trials. The research results show that the application of the TaRL integrated RADEC model, whose stages consist of Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain and Create, can improve the ability to understand and bring out very positive characters, the ability to understand students' concepts using the TaRL integrated RADEC model, increases significantly compared to before being given treatment. using the TaRL integrated RADEC model.
