Abstract

Keterampilan menulis lanjut adalah keterampilan yang dilaksanakan pada pembelajaran bahasa pada kelas tinggi sehingga keterampilan menulis menjadi sangat penting untuk siswa. Namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak ditemukan permasalahan yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran think talk write berbasis berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa di sekolah dasar. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pretest dan posttest nonequivalent control group design dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 22 siswa pada kelas eksperimen, dan 20 siswa pada kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu tes, observasi, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan software IBM SPSS versi 26 dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t untuk data prates, uji mann whitney untuk pascates, uji N-Gain untuk menganalisis pengaruh. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pretest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 58,43 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 53,23, sedangkan hasil pascates pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 84,38 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 65,42. Hal ini terlihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi setelah diberikan perlakuan. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan N-Gain diperoleh melalui bantuan software IBM SPSS versi 26 pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 69,05% dan 30,26% kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai yang lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol. Implikasi dari penelitian ini siwa menjadi belajar aktif dan terbiasa menuangkan ide pikiran dalam tulisan. Maka model pembelajaran think talk write berbasis berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa. Advanced writing skills are implemented in language learning in higher classes so writing skills are essential for students. However, in reality, there are still many problems caused by several factors. This study aims to determine the effect of the think-talk-write learning model based on critical thinking and creative thinking on students' explanatory text-writing skills in elementary schools. This study uses a quantitative approach with the pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group design method with the number of research subjects as many as 22 students in the experimental class, and 20 students in the control class. The instruments used in this study were tests, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used the help of IBM SPSS software version 26 with normality tests, homogeneity tests, t-tests for pre-test data, Mann-Whitney tests for post-tests, and N-Gain tests to analyze the effect. The results of this study indicate that the average pre-test in the experimental class was 58.43 and the control class was 53.23, while the post-test results in the experimental class were 84.38 and the control class was 65.42. It can be seen that there is an increase in explanatory text-writing skills after being given treatment. Meanwhile, based on the results of the N-Gain calculation obtained through the assistance of IBM SPSS software version 26 in the experimental class of 69.05% and 30.26% in the control class. Based on the N-Gain value, the experimental class has a greater value than the control class. This study implies that students become active learners and are accustomed to pouring out their ideas in writing. So the think-talk-write learning model based on critical thinking and creative thinking affects students' explanatory text-writing skills.
