Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi kesebangunan dan kekongruenan bangun datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan tektik puposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini siswa dikelompokan kedalam tiga kelompok, yaitu siswa dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Masing-masing kelompok dipilih tiga siswa untuk keperluan wawacara. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes, wawacara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dikatakan bahwa siswa berkemampuan tinggi dapat memahami soal serta menguasai kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dengan baik, ditujukkan dengan siswa menguasai lebih dari dua indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Siswa berkemampuan sedang cukup baik dalam memahami soal tetapi kurang menguasai beberapa indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, ditunjukan dengan siswa menguasai kurang dari dua indikator. Siswa berkemampuan rendah kurang memahami soal dengan baik serta kurang menguasai kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, ditujukan dengan siswa tidak menguasai semua indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of students' mathematical concept understanding ability on the material of congruence and congruence of flat buildings. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data analysis techniques including data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The subjects in this study were ninth grade students obtained using puposive sampling tectic. In this study, students were grouped into three groups, namely students with high, medium and low mathematical concept understanding abilities. Each group was selected three students for interview purposes. Data collection methods in this study used tests, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of this study, it is said that high ability students can understand the problem and master the ability to understand mathematical concepts well, indicated by students mastering more than two indicators of mathematical concept understanding ability. Students with moderate concept understanding ability are quite good at understanding problems but lack mastery of several indicators of mathematical concept understanding ability, indicated by students mastering less than two indicators. Low ability students do not understand the problem well and do not master the ability to understand mathematical concepts, indicated by students not mastering all indicators of the ability to understand mathematical concepts.
