Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari dampak globalisasi. Seiring perkembangan zaman, perilaku kebiasaan manusia juga mengalami perubahan. Dimana zaman sekarang hampir semuanya sudah bergantung pada teknologi. Teknologi memang memberikan banyak manfaat bagi kemajuan peradaban, namun di sisi lain teknologi juga memberikan hal negatif bagi kehidupan manusia, terlebih kepada anak-anak yang belum mengetahui baik buruknya sesuatu. Penelitian ini berfokus pada nilai karakter nasionalis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui implementasi, faktor penghambat, faktor pendukung, serta solusi yang dilakukan sekolah dalam penerapan nilai karakter peserta didik di SDN Jelegong Rancaekek melalui kegiatan pembiasaan kebudayaan (rebo nyunda). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Komponen yang menjadi dasar peneliti untuk mengembangkan instrumen penelitian diambil dari pendidikan karakter yang dikembangkan menurut Thomas Lickona, yaitu moral knowing, moral loving atau feeling, dan moral acting. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa SDN Jelegong 01 melaksanakan penerapan nilai karakter melalui kegiatan pembelajar, ektrakulikuler, serta rebo nyunda. Rebo nyunda merupakan program yang dilakukan 30 menit sebelum pembelajaran di hari rabu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik menyadari pentingnya nilai-nilai moral. Adanya kegiatan rebo nyunda pun memberikan dampak positif pada peserta didik. Sehingga peserta didik jadi lebih mengenal dan memahami nilai-nilai kebudayaan dan dapat menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian pun menunjukan bahwa peserta didik masih merasa nilai-nilai moral mereka masih bertentangan dengan kebudayaan. ------------- This research was motivated by the impact of globalization. Along with the times, human behavior has also changed. Where nowadays almost everything depends on technology. Technology does provide many benefits for the progress of civilization, but on the other hand, technology also provides negative things for human life, especially for children who do not know the good or bad of something. This research focuses on the value of nationalist character. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation, inhibiting factors, supporting factors, and solutions carried out by schools in the application of student character values at SDN Jelegong Rancaekek through cultural habituation activities (rebo nyunda). The method used in this study is to use case study with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The components that were the basis for researchers to develop research instruments are taken from character education developed according to Thomas Lickona, namely moral knowing, moral loving or feeling, and moral acting. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it was found that SDN Jelegong 01 implements the application of character values through learner, extracurricular, and rebo nyda activities. Rebo nyunda is a program that is carried out 30 minutes before learning on Wednesday. The results of the study show that students are aware of the importance of moral values. The existence of the rebo nyda activity also has a positive impact on students. So that students become more familiar and understand cultural values and can apply them in their daily lives. The results of the study also show that students still feel that their moral values are still contrary to the culture.
