Abstract
Mathematics is a fundamental science and is essential to learning for anyone, including street children. One of the difficulties street children have in learning math is the lack of teaching materials that adjust to their needs. Based on the observations made by the researchers, the ability of street children to understand mathematical concepts is lacking because their learning is not yet optimal. There are many factors behind it. One of them is due to disadvantaged economic factors and the necessities of life that must be met so that street children spend a lot of time on the road. Researchers conducted research aimed at developing story-based mathematical teaching materials illustrated by social arithmetic devoted to facilitating street children's learning. The development of this illustrated story-based teaching material uses ADDIE models such as analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluate. The results of this study concluded that the teaching materials developed were able to facilitate students in learning social arithmetic. Based on the assessment results from several experts, the teaching materials developed are considered feasible and practical. In addition, the student's response to teaching materials is good.
