Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi permasalahan anak usia 5-6 tahun yang belum memiliki kesadaran terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan pendekatan saintifik di kelompok eksperimen dan pendekatan berdiferensiasi di kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari pendekatan saintifik terhadap kecerdasan naturalis anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Al-Wahdah dengan partisipan penelitian anak berusia 5-6 tahun di kelompok B sebanyak 14 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penilaian observasi kecerdasan naturalis anak. Dalam penelitian ini, dilaksanakan di kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen dengan pemberian treatment yang diterapkan sebanyak tiga kali menggunakan tema yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kecerdasan naturalis anak setelah melakukan penerapan pendekatan saintifik. Hasil nilai post-test kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik memiliki rata-rata sebesar 49,857, sedangkan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan pendekatan konvensional sebesar 43,429. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil uji Cohen’s d sebesar 3.861 dengan standar error 0.241, yang mengindikasikan bahwa perlakuan yang diterapkan memiliki efek yang sangat besar dari intervensi terhadap perubahan hasil dari pretest ke post-test. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pendekatan saintifik memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan naturalis pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. ----------- This study is motivated by the problem of children aged 5-6 years who do not have awareness of the environment. This study was conducted by applying a scientific approach in the experimental group and a differentiated approach in the control group. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the scientific approach to naturalist intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. The research method used was quasi-experiment. This research was conducted at Al-Wahdah Kindergarten with research participants aged 5-6 years in group B as many as 14 children. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and documentation. The instrument used in this study is an observation assessment of children's naturalistic intelligence. In this study, it was carried out in the control group and experimental group by providing treatment that was applied three times using different themes. The results showed that there was an increase in children's naturalistic intelligence after applying the scientific approach. The results of the post-test scores of the experimental group using the scientific approach had an average of 49.857, while the control group using the conventional approach amounted to 43.429. This is reinforced by the results of the Cohen's d test of 3.861 with a standard error of 0.241, which indicates that the treatment applied has a very large effect of the intervention on changes in results from pre-test to post-test. Based on the results of the calculation, it can be concluded that the scientific approach has a significant and effective influence in increasing naturalist intelligence in children aged 5-6 years.
