Abstract
Abad ke-21 menuntut siswa untuk mengombinasikan inovasi, proses penelitian, dan kebutuhan sosial yang didalamnya perlu mengintegrasikan beberapa keterampilan keterampilan abad 21, salah satunya adalah keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang menempatkan siswa dalam masalah autentik. Keterampilan pemecahan masalah dapat diperoleh melalui pembelajaran aktif diantaranya yaitu dengan flipped classroom dan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL). Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) menganalisis pengaruh kombinasi flipped classroom dan PjBL terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan, serta (2) melihat respon siswa terhadap kombinasi flipped classroom dan PjBL dalam materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu quasi-experimental dengan memberikan pre-test dan post-test pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing sampel sebanyak 55 orang siswa SMA kelas X. Selain itu, untuk mengetahui respon siswa digunakan instrumen non-tes menggunakan angket dengan skala likert. Berdasarkan pada temuan-temuan dari penelitian didapatkan bahwa keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa menunjukkan hasil yang tidak berbeda signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, tetapi terdapat empat indikator yang meningkat dari kelas eksperimen yaitu identify problem and opportunities, define goals, explore possible strategies, serta anticipate outcome and act. Siswa juga merespon positif penerapan pembelajaran yang menggunakan kombinasi flipped classroom dan PjBL. The 21st century requires students to combine innovation, research processes, and social needs in which it is necessary to integrate several 21st-century skills, one of which is problem-solving skills that put students in authentic problems. Problem-solving skill can be obtained through active learning including flipped classroom and project-based learning (PjBL). The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the effect combination of flipped classroom and PjBL on students' problem-solving skill in environmental change, and (2) see students' responses to the combination of flipped classroom and PjBL in environmental change material. The method used is quasi-experimental, with pre-tests and post-tests given to the experimental and control classes, with a total of 55 X-grade high school students. In addition, a non-test instrument, a questionnaire with a Likert scale, was used to determine student responses. Based on the findings of the study, it was found that students' problem-solving skill showed results that were not significantly different between the experimental and control classes, but four indicators have increased from the experimental class, namely identify problems and opportunities, define goals, explore possible strategies, and anticipate outcomes and act. Students also responded positively to implementing learning using a combination of flipped classroom and PjBL.
