Abstract
Pembelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya di sekolah dasar masih dianggap sebagai formalitas semata sehingga hal ini dapat menjadi faktor kurang tereksplorasinya kreativitas siswa. Banyak metode, teknik, alat, dan bahan yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa dalam mengekspresikan dirinya melalui seni. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penggunaan teknik usap abur dalam kegiatan mewarnai objek realisme siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan model time-series design. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas II A SDN 1 Depok Kabupaten Cirebon sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan posttest kegiatan mewarnai objek realisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) adanya pengaruh penggunaan teknik usap abur ke luar dalam kegiatan mewarnai objek realisme siswa kelas II sekolah dasar; (2) tidak adanya pengaruh penggunaan teknik usap abur ke dalam dalam kegiatan mewarnai objek realisme siswa kelas II sekolah dasar; (3) tidak adanya pengaruh penggunaan teknik usap abur ke luar dan ke dalam dalam kegiatan mewarnai objek realisme siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Teknik usap abur ke luar memberikan pengaruh dalam kegiatan mewarnai objek realisme siswa kelas II sekolah dasar, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam berkarya seni menggunakan teknik usap abur ke luar. ------------ Cultural Arts and Crafts learning in elementary schools is still considered as a mere formality so this can be a factor in the lack of exploration of student creativity. Many methods, techniques, tools, and materials can be used by students in expressing themselves through art. This study aims to determine the effect of using abur wipe technique in coloring realism objects of grade II elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach and experimental research type. The design used is a quasi-experiment with a time-series design model. This research was conducted in class II A SDN 1 Depok Cirebon Regency as an experimental group. The research data were obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest of realism object coloring activities. The results showed that (1) there was an effect of using abur wipe technique in coloring realism objects of grade II elementary school students; (2) there was no effect of using abur wipe technique in coloring realism objects of grade II elementary school students; (3) there was no effect of using abur wipe technique in coloring realism objects of grade II elementary school students. The outward abur wipe technique has an influence on the coloring activities of realism objects of grade II elementary school students, this is indicated by an increase in student creativity in creating art using the outward wipe abur technique.
