Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perkembangan anak pada Fase A pada anak usia dini, khususnya di kelas 2 SD, merupakan periode penting dalam pembentukan dasar-dasar karakter, keterampilan, dan pola pikir. Program Pendidikan Individual (PPI) pada fase ini dapat memberikan landasan yang kuat untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak-anak dengan kebutuhan khusus. Program pendidikan individual (PPI) menekankan pada pengembangan pendidikan yang memperhatikan keberagaman individu, termasuk anak-anak dengan kebutuhan khusus. Hal ini sejalan dengan semangat kurikulum merdeka yang menitikberatkan pada pendekatan pembelajaran yang menghargai keberagaman dan memberikan keleluasaan bagi setiap individu untuk berkembang sesuai dengan potensinya. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi Program Pendidikan Individual (PPI) dalam kurikulum merdeka yang diimplementasikan di kelas 2 SD Laboratorium UPI Kampus Cibiru pada fase A, meneliti dampak optimalisasi Program Pendidikan Individual (PPI) dalam kurikulum merdeka terhadap perkembangan akademik dan sosial siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus di kelas 2 SD Laboratorium UPI Kampus Cibiru pada fase A. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang sering kita sebut sebagai triangulasi metode penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Implementasi Program Pendidikan Individual (PPI) dalam Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah telah berjalan dengan baik. Dampak Optimalisasi Program Pendidikan Individual (PPI) dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yaitu memiliki dampak positif terhadap perkembangan akademik dan sosial anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus di kelas 2 SD Laboratorium UPI Kampus Cibiru pada fase A. ------------- This research was based on the background of child development in Phase A in early childhood, especially in grade 2 of elementary school, which is an important period in forming the basics of character, skills and thought patterns. Individual Education Programs (IEP) in this phase can provide a strong foundation for the growth and development of children with special needs. The individual education program (IEP) emphasizes the development of education that takes into account the diversity of individuals, including children with special needs. This is in line with the spirit of an independent curriculum which focuses on a learning approach that respects diversity and provides freedom for each individual to develop according to their potential. The aim of this research is to identify the Individual Education Program (IEP) in the independent curriculum which is implemented in class 2 of the UPI Laboratory Elementary School, Cibiru Campus in phase A, to examine the impact of optimizing the Individual Education Program (PPI) in the independent curriculum on the academic and social development of students with special needs in class. 2 UPI Laboratory Elementary School, Cibiru Campus in phase A. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation studies. We often refer to the data analysis technique as research method triangulation. The research results show that the implementation of the Individual Education Program (IEP) in the Independent Curriculum in schools has gone well. The impact of optimizing the Individual Education Program (IEP) in the Independent Curriculum is that it has a positive impact on the academic and social development of children with special needs in class 2 of the UPI Laboratory Elementary School, Cibiru Campus in phase A.
