Abstract
Pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan merupakan salah satu pendidikan yang harus dilaksanakan sedini mungkin, salah satunya di sekolah dasar. Namun, berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan, sekolah dasar belum menjadi tempat pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana proses perencanaan, implementasi, evaluasi, faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan berbasis program Adiwiyata di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, serta studi dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian terhadap implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan berbasis program Adiwiyata di SDN 189 Neglasari mencakup perencanaan yang terdiri dari tahap studi pendahuluan kondisi lingkungan sekolah, penyusunan Kurikulum Operasional Satuan Pendidikan, serta penyusunan program. Selanjutnya dalam impelemnetasi terdiri dari tahap sosialisasi program, implementasi melalui budaya sekolah, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian, integrasi dengan mata pelajaran, penyediaan fasilitas dan pengelolaan ramah lingkungan, serta menjalin kerjasama eksternal. Kemudian selanjutnya terdapat evaluasi yang dilaksanakan melalui rapat guru, komunitas belajar, serta observasi langsung. Adapun yang menjadi faktor pendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan berbasis program Adiwiyata di SDN 189 Neglasari yaitu adanya kerjasama antar guru, dukungan dari orang tua, pemerintahan, dan lembaga swadaya masyarakat, serta didukung oleh adanya sarana prasarana ramah lingkungan. Adapun faktor pengahambatnya yaitu masih terdapat orang tua yang tidak kooperatif, karakter dan kebiasaan bawaan siswa yang tidak peduli terhadap lingkungan, serta konsistensi guru dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi peneliti selanjutnya serta dapat memberikan gambaran terkait pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan berbasis program Adiwiyata di Sekolah Dasar. However, based on the results of a preliminary study, elementary schools are not yet optimal places for character education to care about the environment. This research aims to analyze the process of planning, implementation, evaluation, supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the implementation of environmentally caring character education based on the Adiwiyata program in elementary schools. The method used in this research is qualitative using interview techniques, observation and documentation studies to collect data. The results of research on the implementation of environmental care character education based on the Adiwiyata program at SDN 189 Neglasari include planning consisting of a preliminary study stage of school environmental conditions, preparation of the Educational Unit Operational Curriculum, and program preparation. Furthermore, implementation consists of the program socialization stage, implementation through school culture, modeling and conditioning, integration with subjects, provision of environmentally friendly facilities and management, and establishing external collaboration. Then there is an evaluation carried out through teacher meetings, learning communities, and direct observation. The supporting factors for implementing environmental care character education based on the Adiwiyata program at SDN 189 Neglasari are collaboration between teachers, support from parents, government and non-governmental organizations, as well as being supported by the existence of environmentally friendly infrastructure. The inhibiting factors are that there are still parents who are not cooperative, students' innate character and habits that do not care about the environment, and teacher consistency in implementing character education that cares about the environment. It is hoped that this research will become a reference for future researchers and can provide an overview of environmental care character education based on the Adiwiyata program in elementary schools.
