Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw dalam pembelajaran IPA materi sumber daya alam kelas IV di SDN I Kertajaya Kecamatan Padalarang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Adapun tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran IPA materi sumber daya alam dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe Jigsaw, (2) pelaksanaan penerapan model cooperative learning tipe Jigsaw pada pembelajaran IPA materi sumber daya alam, dan (3) minat dan hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw dalam pembelajaran IPA materi sumber daya alam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart dengan tiga siklus, yang pada setiap siklusnya dilakukan satu tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes, angket, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw pada pembelajaran IPA menunjukkan adanya peningkatan proses pembelajaran. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 70,28 dengan persentase ketuntasan 55,6%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata mencapai 74,44 dengan persentase ketuntasan 72,22%. Pada siklus III, nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 79 atau sebanyak 94,44% (34 siswa) yang mencapai nilai KKM. Selain itu, minat siswa dalam belajar juga menjadi meningkat dengan rata-rata sebesar 4,55 yang dikategorikan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sumber daya alam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, ada beberapa saran bagi guru yang akan menerapkan model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw dalam pembelajaran IPA, antara lain: (1) Guru harus membimbing siswa pada saat diskusi kelompok ahli, (2) Guru harus membimbing siswa dalam melaksanakan diskusi kelompok asal, (3) Guru diharapkan dapat menggunakan waktu dengan sebaik-baiknya, agar setiap kelompok dapat melaporkan hasil diskusinya, (4) model Cooperative Learning tipe Jigsaw dapat diterapkan pada mata pelajaran yang lain. Kata kunci: pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw, minat, hasil belajar, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Classroom action research was conducted in order to increase interest and student learning outcomes by applying the Jigsaw cooperative learning models in materials science learning resources fourth grade at SDN I Kertajaya Padalarang District of West Bandung regency. The research objectives to be achieved is to determine: (1) planning science teaching resource material by applying the Jigsaw cooperative learning models, (2) implementation of Jigsaw cooperative learning model of science learning materials on natural resources, and (3) interest and student learning outcomes after applying the model type Jigsaw Cooperative Learning in science learning resource materials. The method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which adapt the model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart with three cycles, which in each cycle of the action performed. The subjects were fourth graders totaling 36 students. Data collection techniques were used that test, questionnaire, and observation. The results of the study by applying the model of Jigsaw Cooperative Learning in science learning showed an increase in the learning process. In the first cycle, the average value of the percentage of students reaching 70.28 with 55.6% completeness. In the second cycle, reaching an average value of 74.44 with a 72.22% percentage of completeness. In the third cycle, the average value of students achieving 79 or as much as 94.44% (34 students) who reached the KKM. In addition, students' interest in learning also be increased by an average of 4.55 is considered very good. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning can increase student interest and learning outcomes in science subjects of natural resource materials. Based on these results, there are some suggestions for teachers who will apply the Jigsaw cooperative learning models in learning science, among others: (1) The teacher should guide the students during group discussions of experts, (2) Teachers should guide students in conducting group discussions origin , (3) Teachers are expected to use the time as well as possible, so that each group can report the results of the discussion, (4) models Jigsaw cooperative learning can be applied to other subjects.
