Abstract

Pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan di Indonesia belum menerapkan pembelajaran yang mengharuskan siswanya untuk melatih berpikir mereka secara logis. Untuk memperhatikan pentingnya kemampuan berpikir logis, maka perlu adanya pengembangan kemampuan berpikir logis. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang multimedia interaktif dengan model discovery learning sehingga dapat terjadi peningkatan dalam kemampuan logical thinking siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada siswa kelas XI RPL 3 di SMK Negeri 1 Cisarua, Model pengembangan aplikasi yang digunakan adalah Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, hasil pengujian paired t-test menunjukan peningkatan signifikan dari multimedia interaktif dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning untuk meningkatkan logical thinking siswa. Penelitian ini pun berhasil membuktikan adanya peningkatan logical thinking pada komponen dengan skor n-gain: 19% keruntutan berpikir, 30% kemampuan berargumen, dan 13% penarikan kesimpulan. Tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran model discovery learning pada multimedia interaktif menunjukan hasil yang positif dengan nilai persentase 81,7% yang berkategori “Sangat Baik.” Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan multimedia interaktif dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning dapat meningkatkan logical thinking siswa. The learning process in Indonesia has not yet implemented an approach that requires students to train their logical thinking skills. To emphasize the importance of logical thinking abilities, it is necessary to develop these skills. The aim of this research is to design interactive multimedia with a discovery learning model to enhance students' logical thinking abilities. This study was conducted with the students of class XI RPL 3 at SMK Negeri 1 Cisarua. The application development model used is Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) with One Group Pretest Posttest research design. Based on the research conducted, the results of the paired t-test showed a significant improvement from the interactive multimedia with the discovery learning model in enhancing students' logical thinking. This research also successfully demonstrated an increase in logical thinking in the components with an n-gain score of: 19% in logical coherence, 30% in argumentation skills, and 13% in drawing conclusions. Students' responses to the discovery learning model in the interactive multimedia showed positive results with a percentage score of 81.7%, categorized as "Very Good." It can be concluded that the application of interactive multimedia with the discovery learning model can improve students' logical thinking.
