Abstract

Secara umum pendidikan termasuk ke dalam pembelajaran pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kebiasaan sekelompok orang yang diturunkan dari satu generasi ke generasi berikutnya melalui pengajaran, pelatihan, atau penelitian. Pendidikan dikatakan penting karena berlangsung sepanjang masa. Di era sekarang ini dengan percepatan arus dari globalisasi yang tidak dapat dihindari, guru tidak bisa mengajar dengan metode yang sama lagi yaitu seperti metode ceramah saja, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi bosan dan menyebabkan kurangnya keaktifan belajar pada siswa sekolah dasar dalam pembelajaran pendidikan pancasila, yang menjadi latar belakang pada penelitian ini. Dalam proses pembelajaran, keaktifan belajar peserta didik merupakan unsur utama yang sangat penting dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Salah satu yang bisa dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa yaitu dengan menggunakan model problem based learning dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model problem based learning terhadap keaktifan belajar pada mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design tipe one group pretest-posttest. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 28 siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 10 soal. Nilai tertingi pada pretest adalah 80 dan nilai terendah adalah 20, sedangkan pada posttest nilai tertinggi adalah 100 dan nilai terendah adalah 40. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap keaktifan belajar pada mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila untuk siswa sekolah dasar sebesar 21,6%. ----- In general, education includes the learning of knowledge, skills, and habits of a group of people that are passed on from one generation to the next through teaching, training, or research. Education is said to be important because it lasts throughout time. In this current era with the unavoidable acceleration of globalization, teachers can no longer teach using the same method, namely the lecture method, so that learning becomes boring and causes a lack of active learning among elementary school students in learning Pancasila education, which is the background. behind this research. In the learning process, students' active learning is the main element that is very important in achieving learning goals. One thing that can be done to increase student learning activity is by using a problem based learning model in Pancasila education subjects. This research aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model on active learning in Pancasila education subjects for elementary school students. The research uses quantitative research and the research method used is pre-experimental design type one group pretest-posttest. The subjects used in this research were 28 grade II elementary school students. This research instrument uses a multiple choice test with 10 questions. The highest score on the pretest was 80 and the lowest score was 20, while on the posttest the highest score was 100 and the lowest score was 40. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the use of the problem based learning model on active learning in Pancasila education subjects for elementary school students was 21,6%.
