Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi green lifestyle (gaya hidup hijau) pada siswa kelas 4B dalam pembelajaran tematik di Sekolah Alam Bandung. Green lifestyle menekankan perilaku dan kebiasaan yang mendukung kelestarian lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan analisis dokumen. Observasi dan analisis dokumen dilakukan untuk melihat penerapan gaya hidup tersebut. Sementara, wawancara dengan pihak yayasan, kepala sekolah, guru 4B, serta kuesioner untuk siswa dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi green lifestyle di kelas 4B berjalan baik. Siswa terbiasa dengan kegiatan-kegiatan ramah lingkungan seperti pemilahan sampah, membawa tempat makan dan minum dari rumah, serta partisipasi dalam menanam dan beternak di sekolah. Pembelajaran tematik mendukung integrasi konsep green lifestyle. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam pengimplementasiannya, seperti kurangnya kesadaran otomatis siswa dan dukungan dari keluarga serta keterbatasan fasilitas pendukung di sekolah. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, disarankan adanya peningkatan sosialisasi dan kerjasama antara sekolah dan orang tua siswa, konsistensi guru mengimplementasikan green lifestyle dalam proses pembelajaran serta peningkatan fasilitas pendukung di sekolah. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pendidikan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai green lifestyle kepada siswa sejak dini. Kata Kunci: Green Lifestyle, pembelajaran tematik, sekolah dasar, Sekolah Alam Bandung, pendidikan lingkungan. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a green lifestyle among 4B grade students in thematic learning at Sekolah Alam Bandung. A green lifestyle emphasizes behaviors and habits that support environmental sustainability. This research employs a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. Observations and document analysis were conducted to observe the application of this lifestyle. Meanwhile, interviews with foundation representatives, the principal, the 4B teacher, and questionnaires for students were conducted to understand its implementation in the learning process. The results show that the implementation of a green lifestyle in class 4B is proceeding well. Students are accustomed to eco-friendly activities such as waste sorting, bringing food and drink containers from home, and participating in planting and farming at school. Thematic learning supports the integration of the green lifestyle concept. However, there are some challenges in its implementation, such as the lack of automatic awareness among students, insufficient family support, and limited support facilities at the school. To address these challenges, it is suggested to enhance socialization and cooperation between the school and parents, ensure consistency among teachers in implementing the green lifestyle during the learning process, and improve supporting facilities at the school. This study underscores the importance of education in instilling green lifestyle values in students from an early age.
